DETERMINING THE PROPER MAINTENANCE INTERVAL

As a condition of your vehicle's warranty, you are responsible for properly maintaining your vehicle. Inmaintaining your vehicle, you should follow either Schedule 1 or Schedule 2 as listed below. Use theseguidelines to determine which maintenance schedule to use.

PREMIUM MAINTENANCE*

Premium Maintenance is a Nissan-recommended optional upgrade thatservices to Schedule 1 and 2 whenmaintenance is performed.

Use Schedule 1 if you primarily operate yourvehicle under any of these conditions:

EXPLANATION OF SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE ITEMS

The following descriptions are providedto give you a better understanding ofthe scheduled maintenance items that

should be regularly checked orreplaced. The maintenance logindicates at which mileage/timeintervals each item requires service.

In addition to scheduled maintenance,your Nissan requires that some itemsbe checked during normal day-to-dayoperation. You can find these items

listed under General Maintenance inChapter 8 of your Owners Manual.

Items marked with * are recommendedby Nissan for reliable vehicle operation.You are not required to performmaintenance on these items in order tomaintain the warranties which comewith your Nissan. Other maintenance

items and intervals are required.When applicable, additional informationcan be found in the Maintenance and

do-it-yourself section in Chapter 8 ofyour Owners Manual.

NOTE: Nissan North America does

not advocate the use of non-OEMapproved aftermarket flushing systemsand strongly advises againstperforming these services on a Nissanproduct. Many of the aftermarketflushing systems use non-OEMapproved chemicals or solvents, theuse of which has not been validated
