    The hospitality industry is a sector which provides proper service tothe guest comprising of accommodations, food services andrecreation , entertainment and amusement sectors.

    The new age hospitality industry is undergoing rapidtransformation with several big hotel groups investing in newproperties across the globe.

    Hospitality industry is the biggest revenue earner because it hasmultiple departmental operations like(frontoffice,housekeepers,kitchen workers, bartenders) whichdepends on the availability of peoples leisure.

    As we know that it is widely known fact that tourism cannot be

    realised without the development of the hospitality sector.Therefore hospitality industry has a tremendous rate of value allover.

    Hospitality industry is a hotel or inns that provides transitional orshort term lodging with or without food to the guest.

    Room Set-UpThere are several key elements that are critical to integrate into

    the room:

    Seating

    To encourage the guest to feel free & comfortable, while beingproviding a place to relax.

    o If one is organizing Hospitality Room then one should definitelymake sure that the room contains a sofa and loveseatconversational grouping.

    o You can create additional conversational spaces by arranging

    chairs in groups of three, at various locations around the roomsperimeter.

    o A banquet room setup secret is to use cocktail rounds, verysmall round tables that can hold several drinks, surrounded bytwo or three stackable chairs, to create conversational groups.

    o Depending on the formality of a Hospitality Room, 0ne should be

    using a professional bartender, who must have an accurate idea

    of how to mix drinks and pour wine, or setting up the beverage

    area for self service.

    o Else if one doesnt have a professional bartender, then they can

    keep the beverage choices relatively simple.

    o Offer both red wine and white wine. The majority of women

    selecting alcoholic beverages will be satisfied with wine.

    o Offer three different bottled beers, including a light beer and an

    imported beer, which will satisfy the majority of men at the event.o The hard liquor consists of gin, vodka, rum, scotch and whiskey.

    o Add lots of ice, lime wedges, bottle openers, stirring sticks, bar

    napkins and a corkscrew.

    o The food plan should be determine in such a waythat is should satisfy the requirements of the guestand the budget of the Hotel Industry.

    o As Most people coming to a hospitality roomwants to munch, since they are likely travellingand not on a regular food schedule. For thisreason, we should offer a bowls of non-perishablesnack food, throughout the room.

    o So depending upon the budget, kitchen facility,

    serving staff to maintain the food display weshould add fun foods in order maintain thestandard.

    FUNCTION OF A HOSPITALITY ROOM

    Hospitality room in a hotel provides a firm or peoples toconduct various events, celebration, meetings, etc.

    Arrangement for and staff Hospitality Room at hotel, stock withfood and drink, serve as host.

    Food and drink offered should include an assortment of sodas,bottled water, wine, beer and snacks.

    Its nice to have cards and games available too.

    The computers were set up with web access to frequentlyused email systems, such as AOL, Yahoo, Hotmail, EarthLink,and Juno.

    A technical person should be available to help out with initial

    setup and testing.

    A committee member should be present at all times the roomis open in order to troubleshoot and insure the security of thecomputers.

    May also include arrangements for Internet connections sothat meeting participants can check their email.

    Hospitality rooms are generally used as meet-and-greet areasfor businesses.

    They are also used by people hosting a variety of events.

    Normally, hospitality rooms are filled with snack food anddrinks for attendees to nibble and sip while mingling.

    Giving guests a topic for conversation by offering themdifferent snack options each time we recreate the hospitalityroom.

    People who make use of hospitality rooms are not at home,which means that unless they decide to visit a grocery store,

    they only have access to fast food .

    The high-calorie food tends to leave a feeling of fatigue.

    Leave guests refreshed by setting out bowls of fresh fruit.Instead of using commonly found granny smith apples and

    oranges, serve kumquats, pink lady apples and peaches.When possible, place bowls of seasonal fruit like strawberriesand blueberries out for guests.

    Hospitality room are used for various types of events by which afirm can improve its Relationships which are fostered by sharedexperiences and events.

    Hospitality room are booked to conduct board meeting of a firmwhere they can meet and discuss on certain topics and alsoenjoy the services provided in the room like snacks, fruits and

    vegetables salads, soft drinks and wine. Events are held in hospitality room of a hotel to promote their

    trade relation with different clients and customers.

    Events held in hospitality room provide a great way to makefriends with clients and customers and make their goodwill.

    Its also important because it is the only type of a room in a hotelwhere board meetings, sales promotion event, shows forintroducing and promoting new things in to the market,entertaining clients and customers etc. are held, so every hotelmust have a hospitality room.

    SELF OPINION ABOUT THE PROJECT

    Since Hospitality industry has the wide range of facilities, itshould keep its standard according to the mark for the furtherenhancement of the sector

    Meeting up all the requirement for the safety of the guest,there should be proper vigilance as this days many Hotel

    Industries like Hotel Taj, Oberoi Hotel were encountered by theTerrorist.

    We should also take into consideration that the tourist comingto our country should be well guided, and properly treated bythe people.
