Niagara Parks Tour in June

The Tay Horticulture Committee was delighted with the success of their bus trip to Niagara Falls on June 26th to tour Niagara Parks

Floral Showcase, Butterfly Conservancy and Botanical Gardens.

Tay Blooms Day 2016

The Tay Horticulture Committee combined their Free Mulch and Plant Ex-

change to the first Saturday of June in the parking lot of the municipal office

at 450 Park Street, Victoria Harbour.

It was like a truck rodeo as residents gathered around the mulch piles to

load up.

The plant exchange had many great plants including hosta, iris, sedum,

shrubs and annuals. Bring a plant. Take a plant. This is a great opportunity

to spread the joy and beauty of gardening through out the community.

Mark your calendar for Tay Blooms Day 2017.

Garden Quote I grow plants for many reasons: to please my eye or to please my soul, to challenge the elements or to challenge my patience, for nov-

elty or for nostalgia, but mostly for the joy in seeing them grow. — David Hobson
