PROFILE
I am a motor vehicle master technician with over 15 years’ experience in the motor industry with continuous professional development. My achievements have been recognised through a number of professional programmes and I am continually striving to develop my skills in many areas. In addition to this role I am also an assistant workshop controller, and I am responsible for managing a team of five technicians who have various levels of experience. I am technically aware, self-motivated and I have been recognised for my aptitude to quickly deliver results in a challenging environment, through effective communication and dedication.

Summary of role:
Liaising closely with customers on a daily basis providing advice both over the phone and in person on various queries relating to their vehicle. Varied work experiences working on servicing, repair and maintenance of light vehicles and as a result have gained the competencies to work on all types of vehicular work.
Part of my role as Master Technician to liaise daily with Jaguar dealer technical support on complex fault, submitting product quality reports on new vehicles and obtaining warranty prior approval through the JLR FRED system. Warranty job card time ups coding (including customer concern code, condition code and causal part, and claiming ).
Training other technicians with latest realises’ of technology , and passing on valuable knowledge after attending technical training courses.
Being a mentor for a first year apprentice, assisting with technical portfolio.
I am the fire officer for the Peterborough JLR dealership, this includes weekly fire alarm tests and annual fire drills.
Professional achievements:
Completed all courses in line with Jaguar… 2nd place runner up in the Jaguar Technician of the Year Programme 2010 Completion of the Jaguar Advanced Modern Apprenticeship Training Programme Working closely with my head of business as part of a focus group for the Great Place to Work Survey,
Implementing change within the service and parts department. Being part of a successful team and year after year being in the top 95% on CLP and in the top 5
Jaguar dealerships throughout the UK. Currently 6th in the country for Jaguar Technician of the Year Programme 2015
