Water exiting the tank cleans the bowl and flushes waste down the trapway.

Inside the inner chamber, the exiting water creates a vacuum effect that depressurizes the trapway.

The trapway is completely filled producing an extremely efficient flush.

As the trapway depressurizes, a suction force is created that pulls the wastewater into the trapway.

Savings Without Sacrificing PerformanceNiagara showerheads are the ultimate high-efficient showerhead and aerators. Unique designs coupled with pressure compensator technology allows for a more enjoyable shower. Enjoy a shower longer without the guilt of wasting as much water as a traditional showerhead.

SHoWERHEADS

At low pressure, water is allowed to flow through the (3) holes in the center of the compensator along with around the scallop cutout.

As the water pressure increases, the force begins to press down on the compensator, causing it to flex. As it flexes the scallop cuts on the edge are sealed off, allowing water only to flow through the center holes. As the compensator flexes further, due to the increased pressure, the shape of the holes begins to distort, reducing the size of the openings. This further controls the amount of water that can flow through them. The shape of the part and the hardness of the rubber help maintain the level flow rate as the pressure increases.

Pressure Compensating DesignNiagara’s patented pressure compensator is built into each of our showerheads and aerators to maintains a constant flow regardless of water pressure by regulating the amount of water that flow at higher pressures.
