For the benefit of those who are not able to see the finish, a semaphore signallingdevice has been arranged on the sea-side of the course opposite the finishing line,should the car or motor cycle on the South or sea-side of the course cross thefinishing line first, the signal will point towards the sea; pointing towards thespectators will denote that the car on the North side has won.
