For our Special Music, he will be performing Rêverie, by Claude Debussy. Rêverie is a very beauful piece that was composed in 1890. Claude Debussy was known to be distressed when he composed Rêverie. This piece is an overall simple form and within each secon, you will find clear arsc balance. In general, lightness, clarity, calm control and serenity are within this winsome, enchanng work. Ryan currently aends Church Hill Middle School, where he plays clarinet, violin, trumpet, piccolo, orchestral percussion, ukulele, piano and various other instruments. He also plays in the School Band and his favorite piano music is Classical. Ryan lives here in New Braunfels with his parents, Bobby and Jessica Lopez. Musical Moment Around 1895, Claude Debussy (1862-1918) wrote his Rêverie, a musical composition often characterized by diffuse style and a dreamy character. The musical language that became the signature sound for him as a mature composer is already evident in this, one of his earliest compositions.
