As a school, we are privileged to be able to go across the road to Somerset Crescent Kindy and read to some kindy kids. One person is chosen from each of our classes and they get to visit the kindy at least 3 times before another person is chosen. Here are some pics of our most recent visit where, after reading to these kindy kids, Tevita (one of our student leaders) Maihi & Ngataka are busy playing and entertaining them as well. Pa Wes. In this newsletter there are highlights about a number of events and activities that have been taking place over the last 2 weeks, and also some information about what’s coming up next week. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have been part of making these events successful, and for the time and effort it takes to ensure our tamariki are well prepared and set up for success.
Reports
Your children’s reports will be coming home on Monday 1st July. Teachers have been busy sharing their students achievements and successes. For the first time we have included a section in the reports around ‘Student Voice’. This means that your children have contributed to their report by sharing how their learning has been going so far this year.
