It will be emailed to the research teams at each site and once the TAILoR Recruiting Centres We’d like to welcome the sites that were opened in September, October, and December: Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals St James University Hospital City of Coventry Health Centre Western General Hospital James Cook University Hospital YorClinic We are expecting to open further sites soon at: Recent Events We hosted a TAILoR meeting during the Autumn BHIVA Conference. This was well attended and we’d like to thank those who were there. It was a pleasure to meet you all and put names to faces! Recruitment Recruitment has gathered momentum now that more sites are open. There are now 69 patients recruited on TAILoR. October was one of our busiest months with 14 patients randomised! November was even busier with 22 patients randomised. Thank you for your efforts. The biggest recruiter in October with 4 randomised patients was the City of Coventry Health Centre (Dr Satyajit Das). The biggest recruiter in November with 8 randomised patients was Royal Free Hospital, London (Prof. Margaret Johnson). The 50 th participant was randomised by City of Coventry Health Centre in October. When the 100 th patient is recruited there will be a certificate and a gift for the research team who recruits this landmark patient. Trial News The 7th substantial amendment has recently been submitted to REC and we are hoping for approval to be granted soon. This amendment has included some changes to the protocol, the PISC, Christmas! It’s December already! The CTRC will be closed from 20 th Dec 3013 to 2 nd Jan 2014. Details of the operating procedure during the closed period will be circulated soon. Meet the TAILoR Team

Recruitment

Recruitment has gathered momentum now that more sites are open. There are now 69 patients recruited on TAILoR.

October was one of our busiest months with 14 patients randomised! November was even busier with 22 patients randomised. Thank you for your efforts.

The biggest recruiter in October with 4 randomised patients was the City of Coventry Health Centre (Dr Satyajit Das). The biggest recruiter in November with 8 randomised patients was Royal Free Hospital, London (Prof. Margaret Johnson).

The 50th participant was randomised by City of Coventry Health Centre in October. When the 100th patient is recruited there will be a certificate and a gift for the research team who recruits this landmark patient.

Trial NewsThe 7th substantial amendment has recently been submitted to REC and we are hoping for approval to be granted soon. This amendment has included some changes to the protocol, the PISC, contact card and treatment diary. It will also include ethical approval for our website.

Special NoteAlso, a big thank you to Jo Tomkins in Coventry for all her hard work, we’d like to wish her well as she is off to pastures new. Welcome to Emily Benson, who will now be replacing Jo.
