Rehab therapists are made of patience, under-standing, humor and a thorough knowledge of the muscles of the human body. They spend their days helping to improve other people’s lives. Dogwood Village would like to recognize Amy McClung for her contributions to the facility. Amy is the daughter of volunteer Ophelia McClung. She graduated from OCHS in 1979 and James Madison University in 1983. Amy is a member of the Orange Presbyterian Church choir and the Orange Community chorus and band. She enjoys singing, reading, knitting , crocheting and volunteers with Dogwood for the weekly sing-a-long. She is pictured with Dogwood Senior Living resident Jeanne Davis.
John Mason, CNA Coordinator
Dogwood Village would like to recognize John Mason for his 46 years of service at Dogwood Village (formally Orange County Nursing Home). John was born and raised in Orange County and graduated from Orange County High School. During his leisure time John enjoys traveling.

Resident Spotlight: Brenda Burns
Ms. Brenda Burns was born and raised in Castlewood, Virginia and graduated from Castlewood High School. She has four sisters and one brother. In 1970 Brenda married Charles Burns, a beef and dairy farmer, and moved to live on a farm in Cleveland, Virgin-ia (Russell County). She has three daughters and four grandchildren. Ms. Brenda has been a resident at Dogwood Village since October 2017. She participates in a variety of sched-uled activities; loves to play bingo, attends musical programs, enjoys coloring during her leisure time and used to love to cook.
