COMPLETING ITEMS

LISTED ON THE RMHA

AGENCY PLAN

Contemporary-style kitchens are

being installed in the West End

Terrace community. The upgrade has

been met with enthusiastic delight

from the residents receiving them.

One resident said, “I’m ready to cook

in my beautiful new kitchen.” No

doubt these new kitchen cabinets are

much more desirable looking with the

new marble-look countertops.

The cabinets are made of solid oak

with a high gloss finish. Each new

kitchen also received a stainless steel

range hood for easy cleaning. Some

residents also received new interior

solid core doors. These renovations

and upgrades are a part of the Rocky

Mount Housing Authority’s Five Year

and Annual Plan. There will be other

makeovers and improvements to come

according to the Agency Plan.

The Agency Plan’s final meeting for

2016 will be held on Wednesday,

September 09, 2015 – This event is

open to the Public and will be held at

the Rocky Mount City Hall’s Council

Chamber at 4:00 p.m. During that

time you can review the Final Draft of

the Rocky Mount Housing Authority’s

Agency 5 Year and Annual Plans.

RMHA’s

Home

Buyers

Education

Certification

Nearly all

home buying

incentives

require that you earn your

Homeownership Counseling

Certificate from an “approved

agency” before making an offer on a

home. Certificates are good for one

year, so we recommend you take care

of this early in the process so that

when you do find your dream home,

you can make an offer right away!

RMHA will host the second "Home

Buyer's Education Certification

Course" of 2015. It will be held on

Saturday September 26th, 2015 and

October 10th, 2015 between the

10AM to 2PM at 901 Authority Dr.,

Rocky Mount, NC. This is located in

the Whatley Cove subdivision off of

Springfield Road, directly across the

street from the firehouse.

To register please contact Teresa

Rhodes at [email protected] or Toni

Child at [email protected]. You can

also register by calling 252-407-1941.
