Remembrance Day

Today, we remember all who lost their lives in warfare. On Sunday morning before Mass we will have the customary two minutes silence.

• They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.

• Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

• At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we will remember them.

We feel for the First Holy Communion children in Our Lady’s who were looking forward to their big day in November which has been postponed owing to the Coronavirus lockdown. Plus the baptism of baby Leo has been rescheduled. Also, we feel for Fr Gerard and the parishioners of St Patrick’s and St Brendan’s Parishes who are having to postpone three First Holy Communion Masses and two Confirmation Masses, after lots of hard work in the planning.

Fr Wilson Sebastian First Anniversary . One year ago this week Fr Wilson, our former priest, was sadly found dead in his bedroom in St Edward’s Presbytery. RIP
