MARCH: EGG-CITING EASTER SUNDAYIt was a happy Easter indeed for the children of Manila Rivercity Residences and Lions Park Residences with the annual Easter Egg Hunt held March 27 at each property. The participants, totalling to over 100, had fun looking for eggs hidden in the bushes and around the pavilion, pool, garden and play area. Each egg found may be exchanged for a toy.

APRIL: WILD, WILD WEST SUMMER CARNIVAL Kids had a rootin’-tootin’ summer fun at CDC Holdings’ second Summer Carnival held last April 23, Saturday, in Manila Rivercity Residences and April 24, Sunday, in Lions Park Residences.

In and around the pavilion were cowboy-themed game booths where the children can win play money which they later exchanged for prizes. Kids also enjoyed the paddle boats in the pool area and the inflatable cactus bouncer with slides. Attendees who came in western attire were given special prizes. A total of nearly 200 children attended the Summer Carnival.

Last February 20, CDC Holdings, Inc. has recently marked the completion of Manila Rivercity Residences, its landmark residential project comprising of nine mid- to high-rise buildings, along the Pasig River in Sta. Ana, Manila. Celebrating this momentous occasion with the developer were representative unit owners, members of the project team and city and barangay officials. The program also included the blessing of Yangtze Tower, the final addition to the residential community and a ribbon cutting ceremony that was led by CDC Holdings President & CEO Ms Elsie Chua and Yangtze resident Mr Sonny Ferrer. Joining them were officials of the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry - current president Mr Angel Ngu, past honorary president Mr Tan Ching and vice president Dr. Cecilio Pedro. Also present were Manila City Hall’s Engr. Roberto Bernardo and Engr. Roger Legaspi and the president of SEC Elevators, Mr Suzuki Takao.

CDC Millennium Ortigas Signs with PLDT Alpha for Connectivity SolutionsCDC Premiere’s upcoming mixed-use project in Ortigas, CDC Millennium Ortigas, has tapped PLDT Alpha Enterprise for its connectivity and cabling requirements. The corporate business group of the country’s leading telecoms company PLDT will be providing fiber optic internet connection to the 96 private residences and 290 Citadines serviced residences of the upcoming development.

Theo, along with his wife and children, is a German citizen who have been living in the Western European country for more than 40 years. But like most balikbayan, the Philippines is still considered home. He visits at least once a year to be with family and friends, and at times to conduct civic missions like distributing emergency relief supplies to survivors of Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) in Leyte and Cebu.

Despite owning two houses, both located outside or at the fringe of Metro Manila, he still decided to invest in a condominium unit simply for convenience. To Mr Angulo, River Green Residences’ proximity to the airport and the shopping malls, hospitals

and food establishments of Makati, Manila, Pasig and Mandaluyong means that they will be spending less time dealing with the worsening traffic in the metro. Another factor that appealed to him about condo living is the available amenities. He is already looking forward to hosting get-togethers with family and friends by the pool or the pavilion. And as a fitness enthusiast, he loves the though of having a gym, just an elevator ride away.
