Green Youth Citizens “Green youth citizens” is a youth project, financed by EU through Youth in Action pro- gram-Action 3.2. “Green youth citizens” is im- plemented in the period Octo- ber 2013-October 2014 and involves 6 partner countries from Europe and Asia. The main aim of the project is to raise awareness about envi- ronmental problems and how they confine us in the exercise of an active citizenship. The specific objectives of the project are: - To contribute to an increase on the awareness among young people to the themes of the training, hence an open dialogue will be created and mutual comprehension will be created, contributing to the promotion of solidarity and tolerance among young people from different countries - To share best practices among the different countries from Europe and Asia, promoting an active debate about them and creating activities to ensure the respect for environment. - To assure the access of young people and youth leaders to good practices examples in the field of environment protec- tion. - To promote the active citizenship of the youth, through di- rect participation and development of the European citizenship sense. THE PURPOSE OF AT-FPDR

Promoting youth poli-cies, financial support for specific youth activities, cultural activities, social activities and training activities.

Vocational training for the youth, disadvantaged youth, ethnic minorities, unemployed.

International youth exchanges.

Establishment and implementa-tion of social programs.

Establishment and implementa-tion of cultural and civic pro-grams.

Rural development and rural youth access to forms of non-formal learning.

Training sessions in accredited institutions.

Promoting transnational mobili-ty.

Organization of summer camps.

Organization of seminars, conferences and exhibitions.

Developing web pages for promoting civic and cultural youth activities.

Establishment and imple-mentation of projects from EU funds.

Our vision

The disappearance of atti-tudes of discrimination, intolerance, racism, oppression and persecution of some groups over others, based on policies of discrimination, racial, cultural, sexual, economic, religious, ideological, ethical, having special sensi-tivity with the groups most vulnerable such as children, ethnic minority groups, individuals and groups in risk of social and cultural exclusion.

The Llere Associa-tion is a non-profit organization which seeks to eradicate and change attitudes of discrimination, intolerance and racism, as well as oppres-sion or persecution based on racial, cul-tural, sexual, economic, religious, or idea-logical grounds. We especially care about the most vulnerable groups in society like children and ethnic minorities, as well as those individuals and groups most at risk of cultural or social exclusion.

Promote the development of the socie-ty in educational, social and cultural, as

well as ensure public institutions, organi-zations of civil society and private sector, and citizens in general, resulting main actors in the fight against poverty from a positive and responsible.

ment with EVS we have

which involve people of

all ages from a variety of

different communities

and backgrounds. We

have a track record of

working with young people, both na-

tionally and internationally especially

those with fewer opportunities. We are

currently expanding this area of work

and in particular programmes which

improve community cohesion

and integration.

ZONGULDAK

Yap Zonguldak Association is a registered EVS and EU project Office and Table Tennis Complex with 3 full time youth worker staff and many part time Turkish members and volunteers. It's biggest NGO in our region. We are based in Rainy Town (Zonguldak) and we specialize in increasing cultural awareness and understanding. Since 2009, we have been breaking down barriers to mutual understanding by bringing together people from different cultures.

ESDO’s operation since 1990 has fo-cused on generating knowledge amongst the community about the impact of peo-ple’s personal actions on their direct en-vironment, and simultaneously teaching them skills and knowledge in natural resource management to ensure environ-mental protection. By doing this ESDO is developing the socio-economic status of communities by creating and offering alternatives for a healthier and more prosperous lifestyle consistent with the principles of ecologically sustainable de-velopment.

Our aims: The aim of ESDO is to take an active part in creating a pollu-tion and toxic free planet Earth, inhabita-ble by all living creatures. ESDO aims to promote and encourage an environmental movement through a participatory demo-cratic framework, involving the youth in diverse social groups and to assist them with the ideas, information and leadership required for a safe and sustainable liveli-hood in Bangladesh.

Our fo-cus: ESDO is a service orientated non-profit,

non-government organization work-ing to raise environmental awareness for the conservation of biological diversity and ecological balance. ESDO believes that building the capacity of communities will not only benefit the environment, but will also teach them to better self-manage and therefore improve their socio-economic situation.

- a transnational Europe-Asia network of organizations active in the youth domain

- 12 local workshops (each 2 in each partner country), dedicated to European citizenship and active par-

ticipation of young people in the local community attended by about 300 young people from the partner

countries.

- 2 transnational meetings, attended by 16 leaders and 16 young people.

- the implementation of a training course which will focus on acquiring social and

entrepreneurial skills among the participants in order to actively involve in environment protection. At

this training course will participate 30 young people from 6 partner countries.
