MEET THE STAFF
Sasha Davtyan-Lagoy
The newest staff member at the Calabasas Senior Center is Sasha Davtyan-Lagoy, who has been working at the front desk since May. However, Sasha is not new to the City of Calabasas. She has been employed at the Agoura Hills Calabasas Community Center for the past two and a half years. Previously, she worked at Los Angeles County Social Services.
Born and raised in Armenia, Sasha received most of her education in Armenia, including her undergraduate degree in International Relations. After moving to the United States and settling in California, she continued her education and received her Master’s Degree in Public Administration.
Sasha lives in Calabasas with her daughter and enjoys hiking, Pickle ball, working out at the gym, and reading. “I love working for this community with such great people. I enjoy participating in local events and am proud to be part of Calabasas,” Sasha says. Welcome to the CSC!
Ask a Pharmacist?
Greta Goldshtein, PharmD is an Advanced Practice Pharmacist
with over 20 years of experience. She will be available to answer medication questions at the Calabasas Senior Center beginning July 12th. Greta’s hours will be Fridays from 9:00—10:00 am. You can ask Greta: Am I taking the right medication and dose for my condition?
If I feel fine, why do I need to keep taking all these medications? Am I taking my pills in the right combination? As always, we recommend that you always consult your own physician before making any changes.

Did you know…?

Do You Know Your
Calabasas Zip Codes?
Postal zip codes were, of course, created long before Calabasas became an incorporated city in 1991. So it should come as little surprise that portions of no less than four separate zip codes were located here in Calabasas when we first incorporated. Which of the following was NOT one of those four zip codes?
a. 91302 b. 91301 c. 91364 d. 91367 e. 90290
Answer: d.
Most of Calabasas has always been included within the 91302 zip code, which also encompasses the City of Hidden Hills and vast swaths of unincorporated territory just outside our city limits.
The 91301 zip code covers the westernmost reaches of Calabasas (primarily west of Lost Hills Road), and also includes the areas in and around the City of Agoura Hills. The 90290 zip code, centered in and around the Topanga region, includes a small slice of the southern tip of Calabasas (adjacent to Old Topanga Canyon Road, south of Mulholland Highway). The 91364 zip code, which is generally designated for those parts of Woodland Hills south of Ventura Boulevard, once included most of the Greater Mulwood section of Calabasas as well. However, in 1993 the Calabasas City Council persuaded federal officials to re-zone this area to the 91302 zip code --- a rare occurrence and notable accomplishment, indeed.
The 91367 zip code, which largely contains those parts of Woodland Hills north of Ventura Boulevard, was never part of Calabasas. 7/30 Allan Grossman, Joyce Chesis, Doris Jerman, Trudy Cohen
