EXPERT CENTRAL

Four pillars of QHSSE, Marine, People Development and Oil & Gas

We are reaching out to all ‘experts’ in all disciplines to co-create Community(ies) where knowledge, experience and best practice can be shared (and challenged).

Leaders and organizations are acknowledging that even their best individual efforts can’t stack up against today’s complex and interconnected problems. We live and work in a ‘VUCA’ world – volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous.

Become part of the IEMS Community of Practice(s) and connect with like-minded professionals across the world and across multiple disciplines.

Details of how to join your Community(ies) will be in our April newsletter.

IEMS EGYPT

The IEMS team in Egypt have had a busy month and are expected to continue to have a busy schedule over the next few months due to oil spill mitigation cover both on and offshore. Details of our clients shall be released in the near future, needless to say we are delighted to serve such inspirational International Oil Companies (IOC’s)operating in Egypt.

Senior management of IEMS shall be visiting the National Oil Company, IOC’s, Joint Venture Partners, Maritime Companies and the authorities to discuss IEMS Expert Central, Training Services and to offer support to some major projects planned for Egypt.

We are all very proud of the professionals at IEMS Egypt. Regionally Egypt has a lot to offer in terms of experience in the field of Oil Spill Response. Way back in 2004 a navigational working group from the IMO wrote a recommendation to the members of PERSGA www.persga.org to consider the Egyptian model as possible solution to developing and sustaining a national oil spill management system. Step forward to 2017 there is another 13 years experience, and systems are certified to the highest standards.

FORTH PORTS

A key element of our strategy for 2017 is to establish a world class training centre within one of the UKs leading Ports.

Forth Ports owns and operates eight commercial ports on the Firth of Forth, the Firth of Tay and the Thames: Tilbury (London), Grangemouth, Dundee, Leith (Edinburgh), Rosyth, Methil, Burntisland, Kirkcaldy. We have initiated dialogue with Forth Ports to determine a gateway.

Update on this and more in our April newsletter.
