50th Celebration and more about our great school.
As we draw close to the end of another successful school year, we have much to appreciate and celebrate.
Our staff have worked collectively as a strong and cohesive team to deliver the strategic directions that
drive better learning opportunities for your children. I thank all teaching and non-teaching staff for their
diligent work. I also, thank the parents and carers who have worked with the school in partnership to create
success for our students too, it is with your support that we strengthen our children’s attitude, effort and
aspirations. To our students, I thank you for your hard work and positive attitude, especially your respectful
and friendly disposition. I have enjoyed getting to know you during my first term here, as Principal of
Cobar HS.
We say goodbye to some of our staff: Mr and Mrs Klopper are off to Murray HS and James Fallon HS
respectively next year. Mr Adams will move to Nambucca Heads HS. Mrs Baker is off to prepare for the
arrival of her new baby. Mr and Mrs Rakecki, Mr Higgins and Ms Dixon, all return closer to home next
year as well. On behalf of Cobar HS and the community, I would like to thank you all for your significant
contribution to our school, families and students. We are all sad to see you go but we wish you well.
Finally, I would like to extend a happy festive season to you all and wish you a safe
and pleasant holiday with your family. I look forward to working alongside you all
in 2017.
Warm Regards
Safija Bristina
