SC House Representative Anne Parks (District 12) was back in Columbia this week to resume House
business. She assured us she was wearing a mask and taking all precautions!
We thank SC-3 Congressional Candidate Mark D. Welch for popping in on
our Zoom Social Hour last Thursday (see below for our next event). Mark is
holding a Facebook Town Hall tomorrow, Friday, May 15 at 5 pm. He is
accepting questions online in advance. See his Facebook page for more

In the News"No-Excuse Needed" Absentee voting was approved in South Carolina forthe June 9 primary. Every registered voter is now allowed to vote absentee forthis election (and any subsequent run-offs) without needing to provide a
reason! Reach out to the Greenwood County Voter Registration office torequest an absentee ballot and vote safely from your home. Avoid the rush &do so right away!

Restrictions (forbetter or worse) are starting to be lifted in South Carolina, so we will reassessthis on a regular basis. In the meantime, we ask you to stay safe! If you headout in public, make sure you're wearing a mask appropriately to potentiallyprevent spreading COVID-19 to others. What can be more patriotic than beingconsiderate of your fellow citizen's well-being?
