DESCRIPTION
Pro Late Model Double Feature
Citation preview
These driver’s know just how equal these
Pro cars are and they also know they only have 20 laps to get to the front to contend for the win. In the second feature (30 laps) each of the cars that finish on the lead lap on the previous 20 lapper will be completely inverted. What does that mean you ask? Simply, the better you finish in the first race, the harder you have to work in the second one. The only bonus is that you have ten extra laps in the second race.
Also on tonight’s schedule are the
Pro Trucks, Sportsman and Bombers. Quali-fying will start at 6:30 pm and racing action will kick off at 8:00 pm. We will start with the Pro Late Model 20 lap feature, followed by the Pro Trucks 25 lap feature, the Sportsman 25 lap feature, and then the Bombers will go at it for 20 laps. To top off the evening we will line
Pro Late Model Double Feature Plus More
T o top off the evening we will line the Pro
Late Models up and turn them loose for a wild 30 laps.
Driver’s such as points leader
Johanna Long, Wayne Niedecken Jr., Garrett Jones and Brandon Odom will be on hand to try for a double in both features.
We will return on July 25th with the Bliz-
zard #3 for the Buddy’s Home Furnishings Super Late Models, so make your plans early and make darn sure you bring a friend.
Until next time “We’ll see you at the
races”!!!
-Steve Stokes
T his year we have witnessed some of
the closet, hardest and most exciting racing action the fans could ever ask for at Five Flags Speedway.
Our drivers, in all divisions, seem to
be on a mission this season like no other, to drive their race cars to the limit to bring home the trophy. It doesn’t seem to matter what class of cars we are watching, the competi-tion has been tense and has surely kept us on the edge of our seats all year long.
Don’t expect anything different tonight
when the racing action kicks off at “America’s Favorite Home Track”. The Allen Turner Hyun-dai Pro Late Models are back tonight with the popular 20 lap/30 lap features. Talk about close knit hard racing, that’s what you’re going to see!

Hard to believe, but it has only been two months since the Allen Turner Pro Late Models raced here.
After 8 weeks of re-eval-uating, repairing and readjusting, the PLMs roar back tonight with another double feature (20/30) in store and a hotly-contested race for the points championship hang-ing in the balance.
Pensacola’s own Johan-na Long sits atop the standings entering tonight. The 2010 Snow-ball Derby champion and former NASCAR Nationwide Series driver leads another local and fan favor-ite, Wayne Niedecken Jr., by 18 points with defending series track champion Garrett Jones sitting third (-25).
The 14-year-old Jones scored his first career win at Five Flags the last time the PLMs raced in May. With only two more starts remaining for the PLMs after tonight, each driver understands the stakes of this stretch run.
The PLMs aren’t the only ones, though, fighting for champi-onship positions tonight. The Pro Trucks, Beef “O” Brady’s Sports-men and Butler U-Pull-It Bombers have already crossed the halfway point in their respective seasons and the race for No. 1 is still up for grabs.
