Latest News. Race Season 2015

The Bunbury BMX Club Inc would like to wish all it’s members a very happy New Year and we are-

looking forward to a successful 2015! Our new race season will be starting on Wednesday 21st of

January. Scoring will begin on Wednesday 11th of February. There are a few changes this season

with the committee deciding to cut back to 4 motos instead of 5 due to the complaints received with

the racing running too late. This also allows us to add a few extra classes. These being:

Pro Class (Pro riders can only race the pro sections)

Mini wheelers

Cruiser 12 years old and under

Cruiser 13 yrs and over

These will affect our Practice times so the new practice

times are:

Mini Wheelers will race from 6:15pm to 6:30pm

Open practice starts at 6:30pm and ends strictly at 6:50pm

Pro Straight Practice 6:50pm to 7:00pm

Racing Starts at 7:00pm

Christmas Parade A big thank you to everyone who participated in the Christmas Parade on December 6th in Bunbury.

The kids had fun and the adults had their work cut out for them trying to keep the eager riders from

overtaking the groups in front of us. One thing we learnt is…...bmx kids do not know the meaning

of go slow!!!! It was very funny and we look forward to doing it again this year!

2014 Christmas Wrap Up & Awards Day

On Sunday 14th of December, we held our Christmas Party and Awards Day. Everyone gath-

ered at the club for a sausage sizzle and the kids had a ball playing laser tag thanks to a new

business Undercover SW! The parents kicked back under the shade on the grass and the kids

ran around wearing themselves out—along with a few of the older ones. Santa popped in to

hand out some lollies!!!

We also announced the winner and winning logo of our Logo Design Competition!

Congratulations to Stephen Taylor from Newton Moore Senior

High School. His design was outstanding
