New Faculty Spotlight

Robert Roach- Mr. Roach joins Woodlands Christian as our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade science teacher. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and a Masters in Elementary Education from Sam Houston State University. Mr. Roach has 32 years of classroom experience having taught in the gifted and talented program of the Aldine ISD, at the Sacred Heart School in Houston and at The Woodlands Preparatory Academy. “Classroom demonstrations and hands on activities are not for the sake of saying you use a ‘hands on approach‘ but for the fact that reaching all modalities enables students to connect both sides of the brain, enjoy what they are seeing and then want to see and learn more on how things work.”

School Lunch Information The Woodlands Christian Academy is pleased

to welcome Catering for Kids as our school lunch provider for the 2012-2013 school year. This Woodlands owned and operated company will prepare hot lunches in our campus kitchen each day for all of our students. The goal of Catering For Kids is to

provide nutritious lunches without all the fats, fillers and sugars used in the average school lunch. A manager and staff will be in our cafeteria kitchen each day preparing creative, well-balanced meals that students will enjoy eating. After all, a nutritious meal is worthless if not eaten! The cost of the meals is as follows: $4.30 for PreK-Kindergarten; $4.70 for 1st-2nd grade; $5.10 for 3rd-5th grade; $5.75 for 6th-8th grade and $6.50 for 9th-12th grade. An optional larger entree portion is available for an additional $1.50 for all grade levels. Catering For Kids will provide an online debit system for easy lunch ordering. No more forms to fill out each month! Simply add funds to your account as needed. With the online system you will be notified when your balance is low, be able to view your monthly statement, and even review your purchase history.
