WhenitcomestothesuccessofanyMooseLodge,volunteersplayanextremelyimportantrole.Lodge#1533isverygratefulforthosewhostepuptohelpout,expectingnothinginreturn.Prelate,JeffMox(picturedleft)isoneofthosegreatvolunteers.Jeffhasacan-dospiritthatistrulyamazing,asheworkstirelesslytofinishwhatevertheprojectmaybe.Hetakesonmostanytask,nomatterhowbigorsmall,andhealwaysdoesanexcellentjob.
Withalargemembershipthatputslotsofwearandtearonouragingbuilding,repairsandmaintenanceareaconstantbattle.Jr.PastGovernor,MikeSnyder,isahugeassettoourlodge,aswell.Mikebringstousinvaluableplumbingskills,whichisarealbenefittoourlodgeintermsofsavingmoney.IndianLakeMooseLodgewouldliketothankalloftheOfficers,aswellasthewonderfulvolunteerswhohelpmakeourlodgeabetterplace,simplybygivingtheirtime.

Itwasalivelynightoffriendlyrivalryinthenameofcharity,asmembersbidagainsteachotherduringthelodge’sannualbakeauctiononDecember15th.IndianLakeMooseAdministrator,MikeUhlenhake,auctioneeredoffmouth-wateringtreatsdonatedbymembers,raising$1,235.Onceagain,twopicturesqueanddeliciousapplepies,bakedbyRodyRodabaugh,droveupthebidding.Thepieshavebecomeawonderfulbakeauctiontradition.GloriaBolesdonatedagenerousamountofdeliciousbakedgoods,whichwasverymuchappreciated!Ahuge“ThankYou”toeveryonewhodonatedandbidonitemsatthisgreatevent!
