I'd build self-esteem first, and the house later.

I'd finger-paint more, and point the finger less.

I would do less correcting and more connecting.

I'd take my eyes off my watch, and watch with my eyes.

I would care to know less and know to care more.

I'd take more hikes and fly more kites.

I'd stop playing serious, and seriously play.

I would run through more fields and gaze at more stars.

I'd do more hugging and less tugging.

I'd see the oak tree in the acorn more often.

I would be firm less often, and affirm much more.

I'd model less about the love of power,

And more about the power of love.

A great time of the term to be reflecting on our most precious investments – our children. I trust that you and your children have had a wonderful term learning with Killarney P-10 State School and wish students all the very best for the break from school routine. A very well deserved break after an abnormally long term!

Many thanks for working hard to have your children on time every day ready to learn!

CWA International DayStudents in the 3/4 Class represented KSS at the CWA International Day at the CWA Hall on Thursday 15th of June. Students choreographed a dance that incorporated elements of traditional, folk and modern Nepalese dance and performed it for members of the CWA and community. Students enjoyed learning about Nepalese culture and were treated to pikelets and juice for morning tea. They performed very well on the day and demonstrated excellent behaviour. Well done to the 3/4 class.
