Simone Henry Colour Run Coordinator Lightning McQueen was here to witness all the fun and ended up just as colourful as the kids. 2020 Enrolments The Enrolment of Students in NSW Government Schools policy is in place to ensure that every student has a place at their local school. The enrolment cap is the number of students that can be enrolled at a school, based on the school’s permanent classroom buildings. The enrolment cap for Bilambil PS is 300 students. Within the enrolment cap, a number of enrolment places (the buffer) must be kept aside for the likely number of local students who will need to enrol during the year. The buffer for Bilambil PS is 16 students. This means that we cannot consider any non-local enrolments at Bilambil PS until our numbers are below 284 students. Currently our enrolment number for 2020 is 348 students. Subsequently, it may take a number of years for our enrolment numbers to be sufficiently low enough to consider non-local enrolments again. If your child is already enrolled and your residential address is non- local this revised policy does not affect you. Only parents seeking to enrol a new non-local student will be affected. From now on, parents planning to enrol their child at Bilambil PS will be asked to complete the 100-point residential address check to confirm they live within the school’s designated intake area. This means they will need to provide documents to verify their child’s current address. IMPORTANT: This revised policy does not impact on the enrolment status of any student already enrolled at Bilambil PS. Get to know our school staff. We're all here to help. Our professional, university-educated teachers encourage students to develop a love of learning and a desire to succeed. They maintain the highest integrity and concern for your child’s wellbeing. Q Teacher I hope I didnt see

A Student I hope you didnt

A Student May it only has

three letters

Mr Davisrsquos Story of the Week The Cookie Parable

A young lady was waiting in the airportrsquos departure area

pending her flight home After realizing there was a delay she

bought a small bag of chocolate chip cookies to enjoy while

she waited She made her way to the VIP lounge to sit and

relax She sat down in an armchair to enjoy her cookies and

read her book

Beside her sat a pleasant young man reading his book The

bag of cookies between them Neither spoke The young lady

took her first cookie Then much to her surprise the young man

also took a cookie He said nothing She said nothing but was

clearly bothered For each cookie she took he did the same

Again no words or looks were exchanged but her anger grew

This continued until there was only one cookie left

Then the man took the last cookie and divided in half ndash leaving

her half in the bag

Well that was it She was so infuriated and bothered by his lack

of consideration that she packed up her things and moved

Soon she boarded her flight took her seat and began to settle

in for her trip ndash still very upset by this young manrsquos lack of

manners

She went into her purse and she felt her heart sink There in her

purse was HER bag of cookies ndash unopened and untouched

She was so ashamed of how she responded and was further

upset by the realization that it was too late to make amends

and apologise

This young man had shared HIS cookies without saying a word

He even gave her half of his last one He wasnrsquot upset or

worried about her actions He gave without condition or

feelings of anger or bitterness
