Program Outcomes
a. Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science and concepts of electrical engineering
in dealing with routine situations such as manufacturing, Testing, Calibration,
Installation & maintenance of Electrical Appliances. (Application of fundamental)
b. Analyze the problems by conducting experiments on electrical circuits & machines.
c. Generate alternative solution of the problems by conducting experiments on electrical
circuits & machines.
d. Contribute as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to implement electrical projects
such as generation, transmission & distribution.
e. Observe professional and ethical code of conduct while discharging duties and
responsibilities as a supervisor in electrical industries and organizations.
f. To Communicate effectively reports, proposals and plans both orally and in writing.
g. Use modern tools and updated techniques of Industrial and system engineering
throughout their professional careers.
h. Implement electrical engineering projects considering economics, safety,
environmental & social dimension.

l. Troubleshoot problems in electrical Machine such as transformer, ac motor.

n. Manage inventory & finance of electrical material for various purposes such as
manufacturing, installation & quality.
o. Use software’s such as Turbo C and MATLAB for calculation, designing and decision
making.
p. Measure and record different electrical circuit network parameters.

Department has organized “Expert Lecture on Personality
Development” on 4th
February 2014 for second year students.
The expert lecture was conducted by Mr.Bhavsar. The expert
lecture was arranged by Ms.D.R.Dhagate.This session was very
informative and knowledegable for the development of student.
Industrial visit to 11KV Substation, Pathardi,
Nashik.
The visit to 11KV Substation, Pathardi Nashik was
arranged for Second Year Electrical students on 1st
Feb
2016. Mr.Jadhav guided the students. He gave them the
brief introduction about the substation and equipment’s.
Educational Visit to GCOERC
The Educational Visit at GCOERC, Nashik was
arranged for Second Year Electrical students on
24th January 2016. Mr. Krishna Bahirat guided
the students. He gave them the brief
introduction about the different electrical wiring
systems. Total 69 students with 02 staff
members visited the Guru Gobind Singh College
of Engineering.

Equipment’s”
Guru Gobind Singh Polytechnic, Nasik’s Electrical
Department has organized “Workshop on Testing and
maintenance of electrical equipment’s” on 20th

GEESA Activities
CRICKET COMPETITION
GEESA had organized a cricket tournament
for Polytechnic & Engineering students on 4,5,6th
of February 2016 at GGSF Nashik. Mr.S.D.Bhor
was coordinator of this event.Total 32 teams had
participated in this tournament.This competition is
successfully conducted under the guidance of
Prof.S.M.More sir.
PAPER PRESENTATION
COMPETITION
A Paper presentation competition was
organized by electrical department of our
institute for Polytechnic students on 4th
Feb 2016. It was coordinated by Ms. Vidhy
Khule. The students from different
polytechnics were participated. It was very
helpful for boosting the confidence and
presentation skill among
the Students.
Taare Zameen Par Poster Making
Competition
GEESA organized a Poster Making
Competition on 5th
February 2016 at
Drawing hall. The event was coordinated by
Miss D.R.Dhagate. The Students from
School,Polytechnic and Engineering college
had Participated for this event. There were
200 Participants participated in the
Competition.
