Noda To our deep sorrow, Dr. Hiroharu Noda, Professor of Physiology, School of Optome- try, Indiana University, passed away on 22 December 1991. Dr. Noda made eminent contributions to the physiology of oculomotor mechanisms, especially cerebellar control of saccadic eye movements. Dr. Hama succeeds Dr. Ebashi at Okazaki Dr. Kiyoshi Hama, member of the NSR editorial board, has been appointed as president of the National Institute of Physiology at Okazaki, Japan. The former present, Dr. Setsuro Ebashi, has been promoted to the presidency of the entire okazaki National Research Institutes organization, which includes the National Institute of Physiology. Dr. Y. Kidokoro moves to Gunma Dr. Yoshi Kidokoro, member of the NSR editorial board, will move April 1992 from UCLA to Japan as professor of behavior and physiology at the Behavior Research Institute, Gunma University Medical School, Maebashi, Gunma 371, Japan.
