Binani Cement promoters to buy public stake, delist co
Promoters of Binani Cement have decided to delist the shares of the company by purchasing entire 30.1% public holding in the firm.
According to the shareholding pattern filed with the Bombay Stock Exchanges on August 27, – JP Morgan Special Situations (Mauritius) held 11.6%,– Ganesha Prime Holdings (Mauritius) 9.81%,– Life Insurance Corporation of India 1.59% and – Credit Suisee Limestone (Mauritius) 1.06%.
Fiat launches Linea T-Jet, T Jet Plus priced at Rs 8.55 - 8.99 lakh
Fiat India launched two variants of its C plus flagship car Linea, the T-Jet and the T-Jet Plus.
Linea T-jet model has 13 new features and seven class leading equipments like more powerful engine, fuel efficiency and safety features.
Other features of the car include auto air conditioning, with rear knee and foot level AC vents and is powered by 114 PS power engine with an torque of 207 Nm.
Hero Honda launches special CWG limited edition bike
Two-wheeler major Hero Honda launched Passion Pro Commonwealth Games limited edition motorcycle costing Rs.46,300.
The new bike has an all-white body with sporty looks, striking new dual-tone blue and green graphics inspired by the colours of the Games.
The bike comes with the special XIX CWG 2010 insignia on its side cover.

The Passion bike brand was introduced in 2001 and till date it is one of the largest selling bikes in the country. The brand was refreshed in 2003 as Passion Plus and Passion Pro was launched in 2008 with power start.
The company is known as a corporate promoter of sports in India and has been associated with hockey, cricket and golf.

Two Indian women have made it to Forbes list of world's 100 most powerful women with US First Lady Michelle Obama at the top.
India-born Pepsico chief Indira Nooyi in sixth place.
Axis Bank chief executive Shikha Sharma, ranked 89th .
ICICI Bank chief executive Chanda Kocchar ,was in the 92nd place.
Peppermint Hotels plans to open 10 properties by end 2011
New entrant in the affordable boutique hotel segment, Peppermint Hotels , plans to open 10 such hotels by end 2011.
It is also targeting the increasing number of foreign travelers that have the capacity to spend about USD 100 per night for a room.
The company is looking at setting up hotels, in tier I and II cities such as Jaipur, Jodhpur, Pune, Ahmedabad Baroda, Kumarakom, and Bangalore.
