NEW HEAT EXCHANGER AND UP TO 97% AFUE RATING MAKE THIS DAIKIN’S MOST EFFICIENT GAS FURNACE EVER
HOUSTON – (DATE) – Daikin offers a new level of energy efficiency this fall season with the D_97MC modulating, variable speed gas furnace. Delivering up to a 97% AFUE rating, the furnace’s heat exchanger has been redesigned to be smaller and contain fewer total components than previous heat exchangers. Daikin’s high-‐efficiency gas furnaces reduce energy waste, compared to lower AFUE furnaces, while keeping homes warm and toasty during winter months. The D_97MC features a new tubular heat exchanger so compact it can fit in a cabinet as short as 34.5 inches. Using wrinkle bend technology, this unique, award-‐winning design includes visible enhancements such as heavy-‐duty stainless steel for both the tubular heat exchanger and secondary heat exchanger. Further improvements have been made to the cabinet itself such as thumb screws on the doors for tool-‐free service access and a single-‐piece, embossed cabinet wrapper providing less than 2% cabinet leakage. With a firing rate of 20,000 BTU, each burner of the heat exchanger provides heating capacities from 40,000 to 120,000 BTU. Daikin brand is known for high efficiency products, and this newest gas furnace model is no different. The AFUE rating of up to 97% allows the D_97MC to deliver comfort even more efficiently, with 97 cents of every energy dollar going into heating the home. And to make installation and set up even faster, all of Daikin’s high efficiency models are compatible with the ComfortNet® communicating system. With one of the best limited warranties in the business -‐ a 12-‐year parts limited warranty*, a lifetime heat exchanger limited warranty* and a 12-‐year unit replacement limited warranty* -‐ Daikin’s newest model also features self-‐calibrating modulating gas valves that auto-‐configure for each installation, durable silicon nitride igniters, a factory installed trip for vertical applications, vertical gas valve for easy connection to either side of the cabinet and air inlet connections on top or either side. * Complete warranty details available from your local dealer or at www.daikincomfort.com. To receive the 12-‐year Unit Replacement Limited Warranty, Lifetime Heat Exchanger Limited Warranty (good for as long as you own your home) and 12-‐Year Parts Limited Warranty, online registration must be completed within 60 days of installation. Additional requirements for annual maintenance are required for the Unit Replacement Warranty. Online registration and some of the additional requirements are not required in California or Quebec.
