OMAN’S PRIDE

AIM made a remarkable achievement by delivering one of the Longest (44 Meter

Long) Cladded AGRU Regenerator Column for PDO’s Yibal Khuff Project (YKP).

The order was realized through Petrofac E&C & AIM scope involved engineering,

procurement, fabrication and supply of 2 Nos Columns & 14 Nos Pressure Vessels.

The massive equipment was

transported by road from AIM

Sohar facility to PDO’s Yibal site

and was successfully installed

within the set target date.

This is a major milestone in the

manufacturing history of AIM &

Sultanate.

For YKP project, AIM engineered, manufactured and delivered a 300 MT Alloy

825 Cladded Pressure Vessel. This is one of the heaviest supplies ever made by

any Omani company.

The complete cladding (ESSC) of the Pressure Vessel was managed though

AIM’s fully integrated clad shop at Sohar (Sultanate of Oman).

Considering the size & its significant weight, the Vessel was shipped from Sohar

port to Duqm port and further it was transported to Yibal site by road.

CLADDING OF LINE PIPES

AIM facility at Sohar was recently audited and approved by Petroleum Development

Oman for manufacturing of Corrosion Resistant Alloy (CRA) Weld overlay Pipes,

Fittings & Flanges, which are usually imported to Oman .

This is a major milestone in AIM’s journey, making it a proud moment for the team as

this would be the very first & only company currently in Oman to be enlisted under

the relevant AVME.

Corrosion resistant alloys (CRA’s) deposited through highly specialized and advanced

process of cladding, are commonly used to protect costly assets in the Exploration &

Production, Refineries & Processing plants from aggressive Corrosion.. A carbon steel

pipe or fitting with CRA cladding provides a highly economical alternative to the use

of solid CRA pipe or fitting or any other product forms.

This major accomplishment will enable AIM to offer stand alone third party

cladding services (Manufacturing of cladded piping bulks like pipes, fittings &

flanges and specialty items such as valves, pumps etc.) for large strategic

projects within Sultanate and Overseas with unmatched price and quality .

This key ICV achievement, through collaborative efforts between PDO & AIM LLC

will offer significant benefit to PDO in terms of cost reduction, import substitution

and also bring in significant value to the Oman market as it consolidates supply

chains, shorten lead times for project completions and brings technology based

solutions for Energy sector.

HEAVY WALL (180 MM) PRESSURE VESSEL

QUALIFICATION APPROVAL WITH PDO

AIM as part of its capacity enhancement initiative, recently demonstrated PDO with

fabrication of heavy walled pressure vessel of thickness 180 mm.

AIM facility at Sohar has undergone an extensive audit by PDO team and further

based on successful demonstration of its capability the current qualification approval

of Pressure Vessel was upgraded to a new thickness of up to 180 mm.

With this remarkable achievement, AIM will be one among the very few companies to

fabricate and supply “Heavy Walled” Pressure Vessels for energy sector.

EXPORT OF MANIFOLD SKIDS TO MAJNOON OIL

FIELDS IN IRAQ FOR SHELL (SIPD)

AIM exported 3 Nos Manifold Skids to Shell Iraq Petroleum Development B. V (SIPD) for

their “Majnoon Field Development Project”.

This is a direct order from Shell Iraq and AIM scope involved engineering, procurement,

fabrication and supply of 5 Slot & 4 Slot Manifold Skids of sizes up to 14.5 M Length x 6.2 M

Height.

The primary function of this Manifold skid is to:

Gather well fluid from four production wells.

Independent switching of the flow of well fluids from each production well to Sour

production header or Test header on the Production Manifold.

Independent pressure isolation of each production well.

To allow for connection of an in-field production manifold for field extension purposes.

CSS MANIFOLD SKIDS FOR PDO

AIM successfully dispatched first

batch of 9 Nos of CSS Manifold Skids

for “Amal Phase 1 C2 Project” of

PDO.

AIM scope involves engineering,

procurement, fabrication and supply

of 5 slot CSS Manifold Skids (26 Nos)

of sizes up to 19.0 M Length x 5.0 M

Width.

These integrated skids ensure high

reliability as they are pre-assembled

& tested at AIM shop prior to

installation at site which reduces any

latent failures which are normally

discovered during the time of

commissioning.

FIELD MAINTENANCE WORKS FOR

EXXON MOBIL—IRAQ

Team AI Iraq has successfully taken up a challenging field activity of Storage Tank

repair and maintenance works at DS - 07 station of West Qurna - 1 operated and

managed by Exxon Mobil.

The complex on-site activity involved desludging, cleaning, repair & replacement of

roof structure, roof plates, bottom plates and replacement of shell plates of the tank.

The entire scope was completely managed in-house with the support of our Iraq

fabrication facility at North Rumaila (Basra).

Iraq Operations has also recently completed

major vessel repair and upgradation works in

various degassing stations at West Qurna 1 for

Exxon Mobil and at Hammar Misrif, Zubair for

ENI.

The seamless execution of the project once

again proves AI Iraq operation’s capability in

executing such challenging projects meeting

stringent HSE & quality norms.

internationally recognized ISO 9001 : 2015

standard.

AIM CONTRIBUTION TO OMAN’S FLAGSHIP

PROJECT

AIM proudly announces their association with GLASSPOINT once again for the

“Miraah Phase 2 Project” of PDO after successfully completing the Phase 1 works.

AIM scope in Phase 2 involves complete installation of Glasshouse along with

critical welding of receiver tubes inside the Glasshouse for the Solar Steam

Project at Amal.

AIM was recently rewarded on HSE front during the Successful completion of One

million man-hours without any lost time injury (LTI) by GLASSPOINT on the Phase 1

of Miraah Project.
