News From Mandy & Children in Room 2109 February 7-13,

1st Years The 1st years are starting non-fiction research
projects as they relate to our
study of Africa.
2nd Years 2nd y ears will begin a Timeline of Life research
project this week. 3rd Years The 3rd years have been practicing for
the upcoming MCAs (will be taken in
April). We are working on strategies for solving problems but
also strategies on what to do if you’re feeling like you have too
much energy, need a break, need to refocus, etc. during the
test.

Valentine’s Day
School district policy prohibits us from exchanging items
including Valentine cards and candy. We will talk about the history
of Valentine’s Day and work on a special
friendship/compliment project. Thank you for your
cooperation.
