Dear Friends,

Happy Summer to all of you!

In January’s newsletter I was

introduced as the Bowl for

Kids’ Sake Event Planner. As

of March 1st, I took the posi-

tion as a full time Case Man-

ager while continuing on

with Bowl for Kids’ Sake, so

you can imagine that the last

few months have been very

busy here in our office. We

can’t say “Thank You”

enough for everyone’s sup-

port and participation in

making this year’s Bowl for

Kids’ Sake event a success.

Everyone from Board Mem-

bers; to volunteers; to work-

ers; to team captains and to

bowlers worked very hard

fundraising and it really

showed. I truly believe in our

program and how beneficial

it proves to be for our chil-

dren. Big Brothers Big Sis-

ters is about one-to-one

friendships, but it is made up

of a community full of caring

and giving people; hundreds

changing what it means to

grow up in America. The

amount of support we receive

pulling together we wouldn’t

be able to continue year after

With all of that being said,

we always want to be doing

more. We want to match

more children; train more

children on child safety; feed

more children in our After-

school Programs and be a

reason that more children

have a sense of their future.

With more children, comes

more volunteers; the ones we

refer to as our Bigs. Having

two full time Case Managers

on staff, we’re looking for at

least 20 new Bigs that will

remove 20 more children
