Advanced Diagnostics are pleased to announce the release ofthe highly anticipated new key programming Software forBMW & MINI cars ADS183 for the AD100Pro/ T-CodePRO.The new software for BMW & MINI cars allows both key’s andremote’s to be programmed - by using the AD100Pro & AD900Pro.Proximity & Non Proximity keys are both supported. Althoughprogramming of every vehicle cannot be guaranteed with thissoftware at this time. ADS183 is for vehicles with the car accesssystem (CAS) covering vehicles from 2002 to the present and youwill require ADS143 software in place before using this newsoftware.

New for 2012 - Fiat PIN Read is for various Fiat, Alfa and Lanciavehicles worldwide. This new software has been developed to forPro units to read PINCODES from the Body Control Module orImmobiliser.

There are three techniques for reading PINCODES.

1. By using ADC250 - OBD connection.2. BCM 40 way using ADC195. 3. Immobiliser 8 way using ADC196.

ADC195 & ADC196 cables are not supplied with the software andare sold separately. ADS185 is PINREAD software and ADS121&ADS168 is also required for the new software to work. Pre-codingis available on certain vehicles only, and we will continue to developpre-coding software for Fiat /Alfa / Lancia. The AD900Pro softwarerequired for pre-coding is ADS924.

New key programming software for Mitsubishi cars is nowavailable from Advanced Diagnostics. ADS189 for the AD100Pro/T-CodePro - has specifically been developed to support the increaseof proximity keys being used in newer Mitsubishi cars. You willrequire software ADS117 & ADS154 before the new software willfunction. A key feature of ADS189 is the software will also cover thePeugeot iOn and Citroen C-Zero, as it uses the same immobilisersystem.

April was a busy month for the AD team - we released three newsoftware modules - which included key programming for PSA.ADS188 will program keys & remotes by using the AD100Pro/Tcode Pro and will also cover some Mitsubishi vehicles fitted withthe same immobilizer system. Previously released software ADS105& ADS142 will be required for the new software to function. PSAsoftware is a worldwide software release and covers various Peugeot& Citroen vehicles.

Worldwide Distributor Day Bruntingthorpe Raceway - March 26th & 27th 2012 was amemorable day for the AD team because the worldwidedistributors - who provide a valuable & essential serviceflew into the UK from all four corners of the globe for theworldwide distributor event at Bruntingthorpe Raceway.Monday 26th March started with coffee & refreshments followedby a presentation by Shaun Garrett - Managing Director, AD,regarding AD’s goals & objectives for the next year. Shaun alsoincluded a sneak-peek of the new Advanced Diagnostics website,to be launched soon. The room was filled to capacity with peoplefrom all cultures and backgrounds, and the conference wasprofessional, yet informal with lots of interaction between thedistributors and AD staff. After the morning session - around10.30am - we all stretched our legs and had a coffee break.

Some of us stepped outside and found the British weather hadbeen kind that day - it was blue skies, with no clouds in sight, andthe weather remained clement throughout the day. After the breakAlberto Seage from Elme Tools delivered a well executed &informative presentation - with insightful information about the keyprogramming/cloning market & how we can all do more to growour businesses further in the future - by reaching locksmiths whodo not offer key cloning services yet. After a brief lunch - we wereall divided into small teams for the afternoon Big Thunder Trackdayevent. The afternoon’s racing was adrenalin filled with each teamspending an allocated amount of time on each driving experiencebefore moving onto the next event. From Ariel Atom’s,hovercraft’s,including a bendy bus joyride - everyone had a go with the eventfinishing just after five o’ clock. Later that evening, during theevening meal Greg Chambers said farewell to all the distributors.

Tuesday 27th March was dedicated to key programmingdemonstrations for all the distributors at the AD offices in Nuneaton.The day was packed with demo’s including one to one meetingsfor distributors. Most of the AD team were demonstrating new keyprogramming software soon to be released including BMW and Fiat.

AD would like to say a big thanks to everyone who took thetime out of their busy schedules to attend the distributor days inMarch this year - we are committed to providing excellent serviceto you and we fully appreciate the excellent work you do - servinglocksmiths globally.

Hickley’s - UK Customer Day On June 16th & 17th 2012 - AD hosted the Hickley’s UKcustomer event at our facilities, here in Nuneaton. Thecustomer days were held over a two day period. Saturdaymorning - the scene was set for locksmiths and auto techniciansfrom all over the UK to visit, browse and buy various AD productsand services. There was a steady stream of customers throughoutthe two days - with lots to see. The AD team were busydemonstrating new key programming software recently launchedfor various vehicles throughout the event. Demo’s included,PINCODE reading for the Chevrolet Cruze, Iveco Daily & Fiat.Key programming demos also shown for the Mitsubishi ASX,BMW, Citroen DS4 & VW Caddy.The feedback was positive from locksmiths and the two daysproved to be very successfull. The customer day event is anexcellent way for distributors to engage with locksmiths andprovides them an opportunity to ensure they know about the latestproducts & services offered by AD, with one off special offersduring the event.
