Principals Message
Welcome back everyone. Hope
you all feel refreshed after the
holidays and are ready for another
busy term. Please remember to
keep an eye on the diary dates
each week in the newsletter to see
what is happening and when.
We would like to congratulate
Kate (Class Teacher on Room 1) and her husband,
Nathan on the recent birth
of their gorgeous little
daughter, Charlotte Poppy.
All are doing well and
we wish them much happiness as a growing family.
Several classes are busily rehearsing for the IOTAS
Concert in Week 3 at Panthers Newcastle. They will
be performing an item called “Just Dance”. I have
attached the flyer for anyone interested in watching
the concert. It is always fun and this is our first time
performing! Wish us luck! The raffle will be drawn on
that day at the concert for the mini iPad and gift
hampers.
A group of 13 students, staff and carers have been
away at Myuna Bay this week for the Middle to Senior
School Transition Camp. All had a wonderful time and
represented our school well. Photo pages will be
included in next week’s newsletter. The Junior Camp
is scheduled for Week 4 this term.
I have attached a hard copy of our school survey to
the newsletter again this week and encourage
families to complete and send back to school.
Our Golf Day is quickly approaching, Friday Week 5
on November 7th. It will be great day and we have
received some really exciting donations as prizes for
teams on the day. We are hoping to raise enough
money to purchase a special new playground swing
and other equipment for the students enjoyment.
Belinda will return to school from Week 3 after her
Long Service Leave and has been enjoying many
wonderful experiences and new places.
