2015 POSTSEASON• Started Game 2 of the National League Division

Series vs. CHI, taking the loss after allowing five

runs, none earned, in just 2.0 IP, as the Cardinals

lost, 6-3.

2014 • For a third consecutive season, had his season

cut short due to injury...Began the season on

the disabled list recovering from left shoulder

surgery performed in May 2013.

• Made his first Major League start since 5/17/13 on

5/18 vs. ATL…Allowed four runs in 7.0 IP and was

in line for the win upon his exit, but the Cardinals

lost 6-5 when ATL scored in the 9th.

• Earned his first win of 2014, his 40th career win

and 10th win of his career at CIN on 5/24, a 6-3

victory.

• Placed on the 15-day disabled list on 6/21 with

left shoulder inflammation and transferred to

the 60-day on 7/11, missing the remainder of the

season...Had neurogenic thoracic outlet surgery

on 7/11 performed by Dr. Robert Thompson in

St. Louis.

2013• Made nine starts in April and May before ending

up on the disabled list with a left shoulder strain

on 5/18...Missed the remainder of the season (121

games).

• Had surgery to repair labrum and rotator cuff in

late May, performed by Dr. George Paletta.

• Pitched the 4/8 home opener vs. CIN and tied his

career-high with 10 strikeouts.

• Threw a season-high 8.0 innings in back-to-back

starts, 4/30 vs. CIN and 5/5 at MIL, allowing a

single run in both wins.

2012• Made 20 starts that surrounded a disabled list

stint for shoulder issues.

• Made 11 starts before being placed on the

In 2011, along with his wife, started High Socks For Hope: The David and Erin Robertson Foundation. The Robertson's started the foundation in response to the devastating tornado that struck Tuscaloosa, Ala, David's hometown. In his first career postseason appearance in Game 2 of the ALDS vs. Minnesota, escaped a bases-loaded, no-out jam in the top of the 11th inning without allowing a run (Yankees won in the bottom of the 11th on Mark Teixeira’s walkoff homer). Began the year at Scranton/WB, going 0-3 with two saves and a 1.84 ERA (3 ER/14.2 IP) in eight outings.

2008 SEASON Appeared in 25 games over two stints with the Yankees. His contract was purchased from Class AAA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on 6/28 … made his major-league debut on 6/29 at the Mets, allowing one run on four hits over 1.0 IP … struck out his first batter faced (Oliver Perez). Pitched a scoreless 12th for his first MLB win on 7/19 vs. Oakland … recorded his second win on 7/22 vs. Minnesota. Allowed five runs, including a grand slam to Adam Jones, on 7/28 vs. Baltimore … was his first home run allowed as a professional after 148.1 career IP. Allowed 16 runs in 13.1 IP over 10 outings from 7/28-8/27 and was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/WB on 8/28 … was re-called from Scranton/WB on 9/13 … did not allow a run over four appearances in his second stint (4.2 IP). Went 4-0 with a 1.67 ERA (10 ER/53.2 IP), three saves and 77 strikeouts between Scranton-WB and Class AA Trenton. Was named "Best Reliever" in the International League ac-cording to Baseball America’s Best Tools survey.

2007 SEASON Spent time with Class A Charleston, Class A Tampa and Class AA Trenton in his first professional season, combining to go 8-3 with a 0.96 ERA (9 ER/84.1 IP) and 113 strikeouts (44 games). Limited opponents to a .154 average, third-best among mi-nor league relievers, and averaged 12.06 strikeouts per 9.0 IP … 39 of his 44 outings were at least 2.0 IP. Was named to the South Atlantic League midseason All-Star Team with Charleston… began his career with 10 con-secutive scoreless outings from 4/3-5/3 (18.1 IP). COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT In 2016, assisted with a playhouse build during Sox Serve Week, hosted a VIP outing for his High Socks for Hope Foun-dation, participated in a BP for a Cause event to benefit the Team Carone Foundation and was the White Sox nominee for the Bob Feller Act of Valor Award. In 2015, was the White Sox nominee for the Roberto Clem-ente Award, hosted a meet and greet and visited a Habitat for Humanity build site for High Socks for Hope. Was named the 2013 winner of the “Ben Epstein-Dan Cas-tellano ‘Good Guy’” Award by members of the New York chap-ter of the BBWAA … received his award at the annual writers dinner on 1/25/14 in Manhattan. Visited his hometown of Tuscaloosa, Ala., following the April 2011 tornadoes that ravaged the area … he and his wife, Erin,

established the David and Erin Robertson Foundation in 2011 to raise funds to donate to the relief efforts in his hometown (www.highsocksforhope.com). Also made donations in the areas ravaged by Hurricane Sandy in 2012 and outfitted homes in Oklahoma and Texas for families following devastating tornadoes in 2013. Teamed up with the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foun-dation, Bain Capital and College Hunks Hauling Junk on 12/21/13 to help furnish the newly repaired houses of 21 fami-lies on Staten Island who were forced out of their homes due to damage from Hurricane Sandy … has donated $100 for every strikeout he has recorded since 2011 to the foundation. Was honored as the 2011 Joan Payson Award for Commu-nity Service recipient, presented by the New York BBWAA. Was named the Yankees’ 2013 nominee for the Roberto Clemente Award, which recognizes the player who best rep-resents the game of baseball through positive contributions on and off the field, including sportsmanship and community involvement … was nominated in recognition of his work with High Socks for Hope, which has extended its reach to lend support to charities and organizations helping those affected by natural disasters and to provide humanitarian services to individuals in need. Participated in a Power of 2 Challenge against Boston’s Ryan Dempster in August 2013 in which fans competed to see which foundation could raise more money — Robertson’s “High Socks for Hope” or Dempster’s “Dempster Family Foun-dation” … “High Socks for Hope” won the challenge after col-lecting nearly $14,000 in donations, with the pitchers combin-ing to raise over $27,000 for their respective charities. Appeared at local Bronx schools during the 2010 season, reading to school kids with the “Story Pirates.” Received the 2011 Golden Hammer Award from Habitat for Humanity of Tuscaloosa for his charitable efforts in the city. Took part in the 2013 Buckmaster Life Hunt along with the Braves’ Craig Kimbrel, going on a three-day hunt with disabled children and wounded soldiers.
