Kia ora, malo e lelei, talofa lava, kia orana, namaste, ni hao, welcome,
As announced by the government, we will remain in Alert Level 2 until at least Sunday 6th September. Here
is a link to our school Level 2 Safety Plan. Thank you for your ongoing support.
Spring has arrived! It is always lovely to see the colours of the flowers to know we are heading into warmer weather. Thank you for supporting Daffodil day last Friday. We raised $332 to go towards supporting the Cancer Society.
Our 2021 enrolments closed on Monday. To enable us to confirm places for those families enrolling, can you please let us know if your child/ren will not be returning to Our Lady of the Rosary School for 2021 (excluding year 8 students). Our available spaces are limited for next year, therefore we would greatly appreciate you informing us as soon as possible.
Devices to school - If your child brings a cell phone to school, they must hand it in to their classroom teacher at the beginning of the day and collect it after school. All phones are to be turned off as they enter the school. All watch devices must be set to ‘school mode’ or handed in for safe keeping during the school day. In the coming weeks we will be sending out a form through Signmee for you to complete to inform us if your children bring a phone/watch device to school.
A gentle reminder in regards to all online platforms, we encourage you to ensure you have safe and clear practices for your children at home when using and accessing any form of technology night and day. There are APP’s available for you as parents/caregivers to monitor your children's screen access.
We would really appreciate you helping us to keep all our children SAFE and HAPPY! Please view the NETSAFE website for information for families: https://www.netsafe.org.nz/

Your child/rens teacher will provide information related to your child's year level. These are 10 minute meetings. These meetings are for the parents/whānau and teacher (children are not required to attend). Please book your time through the online booking system: www.schoolinterviews.co.nz.
