Related skills and cooperation projects for “The Italian successful model”

Professional training in the agrifood sector is vital to expand and update technical skills of

operators and managers, to renew processes and production technologies and to better

manage the growing impact that ICT has on competitiveness, from farm to finished product.

The project on professional training was launched within Cremona International Livestock

Exhibitions 2019 and has seen the active participation of research centres (both public

and private), universities and employment agencies with a conference and an exhibit

area to confirm the close integration between veterinary science, livestock farming, animal

nutrition, agriculture, agri-tech and food-tech. An important opportunity to offer and de-

mand new skills for companies and professionals of the sector at all levels.

Cremona Agrinnovation will enrich the offer of Cremona International Livestock Exhibitions starting from 2020 edition: an

exhibit area, workshops and seminars to favor the meeting of offer and demand of agritech and smart land solutions. This

project is developed and supported by CremonaFiere and LGH to enhance the value of the agrifood industry and the Italian

successful production model, while creating a strong network among agro-livestock professionals, companies producing

applied technology and start-ups.

In an integrated vision, agri-tech efficiency and productivity are key elements to promote the entrepreneurial vocation of

the agro-livestock sector and are a fundamental part of the Smart Land system, in which business growth, profitability,

sustainability and enhancement of territorial skills are all equally important.
