Students from 26 schools in Indiana and Illinois competed, and NTI took home FOURTH PLACE! Team members include: Seniors: Robert Shifflet, Thomas Clawson, Skylar Burkhart, Brandon Bowles Juniors: Elijah Guess, Cody Hall, Claire Friona, Tyler Kneer, Tanner Mattingly, and Maddox Williams Sophomores: Audrey Walters, Eli Fenwick, Joshua Bowles, Hannah Riley, Corey Martin, Scott Lu, Justin Brosman Freshmen: Josh Brown, Isaac Bordfeld, Ethan Shopmeyer, Dan Hill, Decia Reynolds ECA Retesting To Start Soon For any students who did not pass their ECA test in the Spring, we will have retesting within the next two weeks. Algebra ECA Retesting is Wednesday December 9 th and Thursday December 10 th . English 10 ECA Retesting is Monday December 14 th and Tuesday December 15 th . Note: this retest is for the ECA, not the ISTEP. We encourage students to get a good night of sleep and to get a healthy breakfast the day of testing. It is very important for students to be at school on the retesting dates. PSAT for Sophomores and Juniors Quickly Approaching Juniors and Sophomores should receive their PSAT scores within the next 1-2 weeks. We strongly encourage Freshmen to take the PSAT, and we will administer the PSAT8/9 test in January. Freshmen and Sophomores will have the chance to take another PSAT in the Spring. Juniors should start planning to take the SAT and/or ACT sometime this spring.

Congratulations to NTI’s Math Competition Team

On Saturday November 14th, 22 NTI students traveled to the

Rose-Hulman Math Competition in Terre Haute. Students

from 26 schools in Indiana and Illinois competed, and NTI

ECA Retesting To Start Soon

For any students who did not pass their ECA test

in the Spring, we will have retesting within the

next two weeks.

Algebra ECA Retesting is Wednesday

December 9th and Thursday December 10

th.

English 10 ECA Retesting is Monday

December 14th and Tuesday December 15

th.

Note: this retest is for the ECA, not the ISTEP.

meeting for the year. We had a great turnout and were

able to get the ball rolling on several items. You will find

a brief overview below with some specific items to be

aware of:

Thank you Jeff Effinger and Jeff Cravens for assembling the picnic tables outside the NTI East Wing. These tables are from an NTI & CO Lowe’s grant. These tables will provide an outdoor learning and collaboration space for our students!

NTI Extra-Curricular Activities Kicking Off

We encourage all NTI students to get involved and be

part of the action! Also, if students want to start a club

and find a teacher to sponsor the club, they can start

the club!

NTI Archery Aiming for More Success

NTI will host two Archery Tournaments this school

year:

January 15-16 @ Bosse HS

April 15-16 @ Central HS

Also the Archery Team will have its first competition

this Saturday, December 5th, at Henderson County

High School. Good luck!

NTI Wins Operation Hot Mess AGAIN!

Congratulations to the NTI Team that helped clean

our community with Mayor Winnecke’s Operation Hot

Mess on October 3rd

! NTI won for having the biggest

- Graduation is May 19th at the Performing Arts Center, 2319 Stringtown Road. We are seeking parents of

juniors and seniors to help NTI and Company plan for end of the year senior activities around Graduation.

- All current seniors must complete all required classes by May 19th in order to walk at Graduation.
