A Day in the Life of a Guest

Teacher:

Introduce yourself; write your name on the board and

require students to use your proper name.

Greet students at the door and get them involved in a

learning activity immediately.

Establish your responsibility as their teacher. Let

students know your expectations. A positive, but firm

attitude will help make your day successful. Closely

following the teacher’s written expectations will make

the day run smoothly.

Start class promptly; reduces discipline problems.
