questi tre aggettivi indicano cio‘ che il progetto
YOUNG rappresenta. Un nuovo concetto basato sui
principi di sostenibilita’ ed eticita’ che suggerisce
una visione per l’oggetto d’arredo piu’ attenta e
profonda. Una nuova strada per il futuro, tracciata
mediante scelte che si compiono quotidianamente e
promuovendo un nuovo modo di fare “produzione”, piu’
consapevole, piu’ onesto, piu’ informato per un futuro
piu’ sostenibile, all’insegna di una creativita’ senza
limiti ma nel pieno rispetto dell’uomo e della natura.

YOUNG project. It is a new
concept based on the princi-
ples of sustainability and
ethics that imply a more at-
tentive and broader vision
of furniture items. This is a
new direction for the future,
given by the day-to-day
choices we make, at the
same time promoting a new
way of producing that is
more aware, honest and in-
formed, for a more sustaina-
ble future in the name of
limitless creativity and ab-
solute respect for humans
and nature.

d’ameublement plus attentive

moyen de choix qui s’effectuent
quotidiennement et en promou-
vant une nouvelle façon de pro-
duire, plus responsable, plus
honnête, plus informée pour un
futur plus soutenable, à l’ensei-

Young è il primo e impor-
tante passo verso la rea-
lizzazione di un prodotto
progettato in modo più
consapevole, integrando
parametri ambientali nella
sua realizzazione.
Il telaio sospeso in multi-
strati di legno di betulla (si
tratta di un pannello piano
costituito dall’ incollaggio
a caldo e a presiione di
vari sfogliati di legno, tra
di loro a fibratura incro-
ciata, i cui vantaggi sono
un’ottima resistenza, mas-
sima leggerezza e flessibi-
lità ) rappresenta il nucleo
portante del divano e il suo
elemento caratterizzante.
La barra in metallo posta
sotto la piattaforma garan-
tisce stabilità e inalterabi-
lità del telaio stesso,
eliminando l’antiestetico
piedino centrale. Un pra-
tico sistema di aggancio
consente un semplice e ra-
pido assemblaggio di se-
dute, schienali e braccioli.
Young is the first impor-
tant step towards making
a product designed in a
more conscious way that
integrates environmental
parameters in its manu-
facture.
The suspended frame in
beech plywood (a flat
panel made by hot gluing
and pressing several thin
sheets of wood together
with their grain at right
angles to each other,
which provides excellent
strength, light weight and
flexibility) is the load-bea-
ring core of the sofa and
its feature element. The
metal bar situated under
the platform ensures that
the frame is stable and
unalterable and elimina-
tes the unattractive cen-
tral foot. A practical
connection system makes
it quick and easy to as-
semble seats, backrests
and armrests.

dans sa réalisation.
Le châssis suspendu en
multiplex de bois de bou-
leau (il s’agit d’un pan-
neau plat constitué par le
collage à chaud et à pres-
sion de différentes feuil-
les de bois, à fibres
croisées et garantissant
le maximum de la légè-
reté et la flexibilité) re-
présente le noyau portant
du canapé et son élément
caractérisant. La barre en
métal située sous la plate-
forme garantit stabilité et
inaltérabilité du châssis,
en éliminant le pied cen-
tral anti-esthétique. Un
système pratique d’accro-
chage permet un assem-
blage rapide d’assises, de
dossiers et d’accoudoirs.
La particolare foratura
della base/struttura in
legno consentono ai cu-
scini un’aerazione co-
stante, utile alla loro igiene
e manutenzione. Permet-

The special drills in the
wooden base/structure
keep the cushions con-
stantly aired, making
them more hygienic and
easier to maintain. They
also help to diffuse heat
where underfloor hea-
ting is used. The high
metal feet facilitate clea-
ning under the sofa.

date List” (lista sostanze pe-

Il Divano Young è disas-
semblabile nelle sue parti
materiche principali:
legno, metalli, tessuti e
imbottiture. Questo è stato
possibile grazie alla scelta
di utilizzare fissaggi mec-
canici (incastri, viti e bul-
loneria) a scapito degli
incollaggi. La disassem-
blabilità è l’elemento pro-
gettuale che più
caratterizza l’aspetto di ri-
dotto impatto ambientale
del prodotto. Dei materiali
utilizzati una buona per-
centuale è potenzialmente
riciclabile, dando vita a
nuovi prodotti: ad esempio,
i pannelli multistrato e
truciolari possono essere
riciclati per produrre pan-
nelli di particelle di legno;
- le parti in poliuretano
espanso possono essere
triturate per ottenere una
mescola da impiegare in
lastre di basso valore (tap-
peti ginnici, sottotappeti,
calzature, etc); - le imbotti-
ture in poliestere, i tessuti
e le fibre naturali possono
essere utilizzati per pro-
durre nuove fibre riciclate;
- l’alluminio e l’acciaio di-
spongono di un consoli-
dato ciclo di recupero. A
fine vita possono essere
inseriti, rispettivamente,
nel ciclo produttivo delle
leghe di alluminio e delle
leghe ferrose: in questo
modo si riduce il consumo
di risorse primarie deri-
vate direttamente da mi-
niera (bauxite e argilla per
l’alluminio, ferro e car-
bone per l’acciaio).
The main parts of the Young
sofa can all be dismantled:
wood, metal, fabrics and pad-
ding. This is made possible by
our decision to use hardware
(joints, screws, nuts and bolts)
rather than glue. This particu-
lar feature distinguishes the
product as one that has lower
environmental impact than
usual. A high percentage of the
materials used is potentially
re-cyclable and can go on to
make other products: for
example, the plywood and par-
ticle board panels can be used
to make wood particle board;
- the polyurethane foam parts
can be shredded to produce a
mix for use in low value sheets
(gym mats, carpet backing, fo-
otwear, etc.); - the polyester
padding, fabrics and natural fi-
bres can be used for new recy-
cled fibres; - aluminium and
steel are normally recycled and
re-used. At the end of their
useful lives they can go back
into the production cycle for
aluminium and iron alloys: this
reduces consumption of pri-
mary mined resources (bau-
xite and clay for aluminium,
iron and carbon for steel).

chaussures, etc.); - les rembourra-
ges en polyester, les tissus et les fi-
bres naturelles peuvent être
utilisés pour produire de nouvel-
les fibres recyclées ; - l’aluminium
et l’acier disposent d’un cycle con-
solidé de récupération. En fin de
vie, ils peuvent respectivement
être insérés dans le cycle de pro-
duction des alliages d’aluminium
et des alliages ferreux: de cette
façon, on réduit la consommation
de ressources primaires dérivées
directement de mines (bauxite et
argile pour l’aluminium, le fer et le
charbon pour l’acier).

Struttura bracciolo e schienale in agglomerato di legno a bassa emissione di formaldeide con parti di tamponamento in fibra di legno e massello in abete, fissato tramite bulloni al pannello di base, predisposto con forature atte a ricevere cuscini e braccioli.Pannello di base in mulistrato di betulla (spessore mm.30) con traforature che consentono lo scarico di umidità e facilitano il riciclo d’aria delle cuscinature.Sul pannello è applicata, mediante bulloni passanti, una barra in metallo verniciato atta a rafforzare la base, evitando l’applicazione del piedino centrale.
Imbottitura
Tutte le imbottiture sono realizzate con poliuretani indeformabili privi di sostanze SVHC, certificate non tossiche.Cuscini seduta in poliuretano espanso indeformabile D30S, densità 32; cuscini schienale in D18S densità 18; braccioli in D30 densità 30. Tutto rivestito in falda da g.350 termoaccoppiata ad agugliato in poliestere 100%, rivestiti con cuffia fissata alla struttura in resina di poliestere 100% accoppiata a vellutino poliestere 100% .
Piedi
Piede in alluminio disponibie nelle seguenti finiture: alluminio lucido, verniciato, rivestito in cuoio. Completo di gommini antisdrucciolo.

Structure
Armrest and backrest frame in low-formaldehyde
wood agglomerate with finishing components in wood
fibre and solid fir attached with bolts to the core panel.
Core panel in beech plywood (30 mm thick) with holes
for better dissipation of moisture and air flow to and
from the cushions. The panel features suitable holes
for the installation of the armrests, seats and backs.
A varnished metal bar attached to the panel with through bolts has the function of adding strength to the base, so that the application of a central foot is not needed.
Padding
All the padding is made with non-deformable
polyurethane without SVHC, certified non-toxic.
Seat cushions in polyurethane foam D18S, density 18,
back cushions in D30 density 32; arms D30 density 30.
All covered with pitch from g.300 thermo combined with
punched 100% polyester, covered with headset fixed to
resin structure of 100% polyester coupled with 100%
polyester velvet.
Feet
Aluminium feet available with the following finishes:
glossy aluminium, varnished, or with a leather cover.
Complete with non-slip rubber profiles.
Structure
Structure accoudoir et dossier en aggloméré de bois à faible émission de formaldéhyde avec des parties de tamponnage en fibre de bois et bois massif de sapin fixé par des boulons au panneau de base. Panneau de base en multiplex de bouleau (épaisseur 30 mm) avec perçages qui permettent l’évacuation de l’humidité pour faciliter le recyclage d’air des coussins; sur le panneau sont prédisposés des perçages pour recevoir les accoudoirs, les assises et les dossiers.Sur le panneau, est appliquée, par des boulons passants, une barre en métal vernie en mesure de renforcer la base, en évitant l’application du pied central.
Rembourrage
Tous les rembourrages sont réalisés avec des polyuréthanes indéformables dépourvus de substances SVHC, certifiés non toxiques.Coussins assise en polyuréthane expansé indéformable D18S, densité 18; coussins dossier en D30 densité 32; accoudoirs en D30 densité 30. Le tout est revêtu en voile de 300 gr thermocouplé à de l’aiguillé en polyester 100%, revêtus avec une protection fixée à la structure en résine polyester 100% assemblée à du velours polyester 100%.

Pied en aluminium disponible dans les finitions suivantes: aluminium brillant, verni, revêtu en cuir. Équipé de capsules en caoutchouc antiglisse.
