This book shows how vernacular commu-nities commemorate their traumatic ex-periences of World War II. It draws on four case studies: Kałków-Godów, Michniów, Jedwabne and Markowa, to argue that it is still possible in the Polish countryside to discover milieux de mémoire. The state also uses local histories to bolster its moral capital.

In dieser Studie wird die Bundesordnung als mittragendes Element der deutschen Geschichte in ihrer politischen Entwick-lung vorgeführt. Die bündische Bestim-mung wurde auf dem Wiener Kongress von Österreich, Russland, England, Preu-ßen und endlich auch Frankreich durch Talleyrand durchgesetzt. Diese Grund-lage erfüllte sich erst im Bonner Grund-gesetz.

Using the methodology of history of emotions, the author examines social reception of the fear management policy.

Die Arbeit behandelt das Konkurrenzver-hältnis zwischen der spezialgesetzlichen und der bürgerlich-rechtlichen Prospekt-haftung und zeigt, dass historisch-funk-tional eine Zweiteilung nicht nötig gewe-sen wäre, da eine eineinheitliche spezi-algesetzliche Lösung zu favorisieren ist. The book presents the analysis of the tri-partite deictics, -s, -t and -n, in the Bul-garian Rhodope dialect. The comparison with the temporal values in nominals in other languages explains the relation be-tween the speakers, temporality and con-sequences on morphosyntax. This re-search contributes to the theory of the temporal expression in nominals.
