Panel is designed for Mechanical and Electronic Control Engines ( propulsion & Auxiliary engines) Where the Electronic Engines J1939 communication protocol and also NEMA 2000engines), Where the Electronic Engines J1939 communication protocol and also NEMA 2000can be connected to through CAN /CAN converter to our display panel to monitor and control for an ECM features & parameters, therefore no additional display panel is needed from engine manufacturers side.

Main advantage of this product is RDM514 OP can be used in multiple station, ie. MCR , Engine room , Wheel house , Aft control from the master output through CAN bus.

Most attracting feature of this product is monitoring controlling and safety operationsMost attracting feature of this product is monitoring , controlling and safety operations takes place in a single unit.

• The monitoring system for RDM 514 is designed as a compact system for start, d i i (i l l ) f l i Di l istop and monitoring (incl. emergency stop release) of propulsion Diesel engines

on board of ships.• All required in‐ and outputs and corresponding monitoring and control functions

f li ti ith l i i i t t d i th t f thfor applications with propulsion engines are integrated in the components of the system.

• When designing the components, a high value was set on easy connection and i t d i C ti i il bl f ibl di tl tmaintenance and service. Connection is available as far as possible directly at

terminal lists of system components and reduces by that significantly the demand of material and installation with resulting reduction of costs. Th fi ti f th l t t i t d b f i l d d• The configuration of the complete system is created by means of an included PC‐Software, which allows setting of required parameter with different authorization levels.


RDM514 – Display Unit

• All safety functions, predetermined by classification societies for monitoring systems for Diesel engines are available.

• Two separated 24 V DC power supplies for emergency stop circuit and safety system. Emergency stop function independently from safety function.

• Separate processing of emergency stop inputs and stop criteria. An initiated emergency p p g g y p p p g ystop is routed directly to the emergency stop output. On breakdown of safety system or its power supply, the own power supply ensures the emergency stop function.

• The acquisition of safety relevant (redundant) sensors is in turn carried out q y ( )independently from alarm system RDM 514.

• The safety relevant sensors activate the stop circuit n case of alarm. The emergency stop system is provided with 2 independent and wire‐breakage monitored circuits. y p p g
