March 21, 2019 Dear Holy Family Parents and Friends, In just about 16 days we will celebrate faith, knowledge and friendship at the first-ever Comet Crusade. As noted above, the Comet Crusade takes place on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 5:30 PM in the Holy Family gymnasium. The event will feature great food, craft and domestic brews, wine, raffles, a silent and live auction, and Wisconsin’s hottest entertainment act, the N.E.W. Piano Guys. We have a great team of parents involved in the planning. I am so proud of the way so many have stepped up to make this event a great success. As of today, we will have food booths sponsored by the new 445 Bistro on Cardinal Lane, Chef Bob Bouthilet with Korean BBQ bowls, the Quad-Parishes with Fr. Greg’s Saltimbocca, HFS alumni with an extensive baked potato bar, some HFS families with some Hispanic cuisine, and deserts galore. In addition to the great food we have in store, we also have some excellent live and silent auction items. I plan to share specifics with parents very soon. Countless donations continue to be dropped off at school. Watch for more details very soon. Sponsorships are at an all-time high this year. To date we have received nearly $8,000 from various families and businesses. Our largest donor includes St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, who will sponsor the N.E.W. Piano Guys. Other sponsors include Diamond Heating and Cooking, Western Racquet and Fitness, Pension, Inc., Green Bay Radiology, Broadway Automotive, and Catholic Financial Life, just to name a few. With your help, we hope to reach $10,000 in sponsorships by April 6th. Their generous contributions mean that 100% of the gate, raffles and auction items will be pure profit. Remember that we have three different price-points this year. A $10 ticket gets you in the room, a $25 ticket gets you in the door PLUS a $20 credit to spend on food and beverages, and a $75 tickets gets you in the door PLUS UNLIMITED access to all of our food and beverages. Tickets will also be available for purchasing additional food and beverages. Please remember that tickets will be waiting for you at the door, so don’t worry about receiving your tickets in advance.

We also have a raffle this year. The grand prize is $500 – who couldn’t use an extra $500! I have enclosed an order form for raffle tickets as well. We are asking EVERY FAMILY to either sell $20 in tickets or purchase the same for themselves. The Comet Crusade should be an amazing time spent together as a school family.
