Rick Radford In The SpotlightThis month we would like tospotlight our baritone vocalist,Rick Radford. Rick began hisministry with The Reflectsonsin August of 2016. He came onboard as a fill-in before joiningthe group. Although Rick has only beena Reflectson member a littlemore than two years, he has alengthy history in the Gospelmusic arena. Rick has founded and man-aged several groups of his ownin addition to traveling with anumber of other groups. Rick is a blessing to the TheReflectsons and brings a lot oftalent along with a heart forministry.

Twenty Six Years of Singing The Reflectsons have completed ourTwenty sixth year of ministry. In September of 1992 DaleThigpen and his family of singingministers were officially named “TheReflectsons” This name was chosen because itreflects the mission goal of the groupto reflect the Son of God. We believe that when a person hearsthe Gospel of Jesus Christ, their lifewill be impacted by that experience.Our goal is to reflect Christ and Hisword through our songs andtestimonies. The group started as a trio with Glen,Dale Jr. and Dale Thigpen as shownleft to right in top photo on left. Downthrough the years many more wouldjoin in. Including former members:Tommy, Tommy Lee, Brian andBryant Thigpen, Leslie LewisThigpen, Eric McDonald, JoeyCarraway, Raymond Renner andGeorge Pushkar. In March of 2010 Bruce and PamRenew came on board and are doinga great job with the group. Pam is ouralto vocalist and has been nominatedby several Gospel music organiza-tions and has been awarded manyawards while with the group. Bruce is our sound technician andhas been awarded numerous awardsin this category. Bruce desires tomove into a musician position with thegroup as soon as we can find the rightsound tech to fill his position. Rick Radford is our newestaddition. Rick joined us in August of2016. Please read the spotlight on Rickin this issue. It is a great to have such wonderfulpeople to work with. Our former andpresent members have made itpossible for us to continue for 26years. The zeal for ministry remainsfervent and we have a strong calling toGod’s work. We look forward to what God hasin store for the future as we continue toReflect the Son.
Every now and then the Lordplaces special people in ourpaths to show us that He haseverything under control. Such was the case recentlyas a special lady approachedPam Renew as a friend andgave a generous donation toThe Reflectsons. This donation was muchmore than money, it was amessage from our heavenlyFather which said keeppressing on. I’m not sure exactly whatinspired this wonderful personto make the contribution,however, I do believe that shewas inspired.
