commercial vehicle transportation practices).

Coordinated interviews for PEER Review. Selected key personnel relevant to the Study that included

DHSEM, Department of Environment, State Police – Uniform and CVE, Fire Chiefs and Department of

Health.

Compiled and produced comprehensive reports of the last five years of Level VI inspections for CVSA PEER

Review Panel.

Coordinated with Isleta Resort to provide the meeting rooms, WIPP Truck parking area, and hotel for the

PEER Review.

Spent 3.5 days with PEER Review Panel.

Compiled WIPP Activity quarterly report for submission to Eletha Trujillo.

Compiled and produced end of month Financial Reimbursement report to Eletha Trujillo.

Attended and participated in a WIPPTREX Planning Meeting.

Conducted inventory of Ludlum survey meters in preparation to ship instruments for recalibration.

Attended the URENCO Meeting at the DHSEM.

Completed Fall Training Schedule for the Decontamination & PPE Workshop & Donning and Doffing

Workshop

Attended the WIPPTrex Exercise Meetings in Santa Fe, NM

Met with the NM Poison and Drug Information Center to discuss Ca and Zn DTPA limited supplies,

Inventory and radiological decontamination response information. Also mentioned that they may have a role

in the upcoming WIPPTrex Exercise in October.

Switched out all “D” size batteries on Ludlum 14-C training instruments and inspected cables, pancake

probes and instruments. All appear to be in acceptable condition to be used for training purposes.

Met with CHRISTUS SAINT Vincent Regional Medical Center to develop “Injects” and “Objectives” for

Exercise in October.

Direct Purchase Order processing completed and approved for WIPP Nurse Contractor required for

Nursing Continuing Education Credits associated with Workshops.

Decontamination & PPE Workshop conducted at the UNMH Hospitals (States only Level 1 Trauma Center)

Approximately 10 healthcare personnel were trained in WIPP Hazardous Materials Hospital-Radiological /

HAZMAT Decontamination Courses.

Attended the Bureau of Health Emergency Management Staff Meeting

The Decontamination and PPE/Donning and Doffing Workshops were conducted at the CHRISTUS Saint

Vincent Regional Medical Center in Santa Fe, NM, the Alta Vista Regional Hospital in Las Vegas, NM and

the Los Alamos Medical Center.

A Set-up Decontamination Equipment Exercise was accomplished at the Alta Vista Regional Hospital and

replacement poles provided for a HazMat Shower.

Replacement HazMat Shower provided to the Los Alamos Medical Center (mice chewed holes in the liner of

original shower)

Radiation Detection Equipment exchanged with the Alta Vista Regional Hospital and the Los Alamos

Medical Center.

Required Maintenance, inspections and cleaning performed on decontamination training equipment

Attended the WIPPTrex Exercise meetings

Met with the new PIO for the NM Department of Health and gave briefing on WIPP Safe Transportation

Program

Training Scheduled for the Carlsbad Medical Center in early December, 2016.

Approximately 56 healthcare personnel were trained in WIPP Hazardous Materials Hospital-Radiological /

HAZMAT Decontamination Courses.

Participated in an interview with CVSA officials in providing input on NMED-RCB’s involvement and support to CVSA’s initiatives as part of the WIPP Working Group’s Work Plan—WIPP Project Enhancement of the State of New Mexico’s Emergency Response Capabilities

Coordinated with licensed radiopharmaceutical provider, in the State, to supply shipping containers and samples of bill-of-lading that will be instrumental in supporting the development of the WIPPTRAX full-scale exercise.

Attended two WIPPTRAX planning meetings to discuss logistical support to enhance the goals and objectives of the full-scale exercise.

Presented the WIPP hospital operations training course to hospital staff of the University of New Mexico
