Here at Paradise, we observe the Lord’s Supper every 2nd Sunday of the Month

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

• We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.

• We believe that there is only One God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and, God the Holy Ghost.

• We believe in the blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return.

• We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ.

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

• We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

• We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.

• We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for Him.

• We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Ghost, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in the present world.

OUR PURPOSE

The purposes of Paradise Christian Family Fellowship Church are:

• To Worship and serve God and to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ as set forth in Matthew 28:19-20.

• To Minister to the needs of the members, their families and others as the church is able to do so.

• Evangelism – To go out into the community and bring people to Christ. (Mat. 28:18-20).

• Discipleship – To teach others to observe & obey the commandments of the Lord and make disciples out of others.

• Fellowship – To Provide Fellowship for believers so that the body of Christ may be strengthened.

OUR MISSION

To reconcile the lost back to God, build strong Christian families and make disciples of

others!

All of our services, ministries, programs, etc... are efforts to carry out the purposes and missions of God and the body of Christ here at Paradise Christian Family Fellowship Church.

• To be a church that builds strong Christian families and individuals who will become citizens of God’s Kingdom not just members of the church.

THE GREAT COMMANDMENT

Matthew 22:37, 39-40

• Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.

• Love your neighbor as yourself.

• All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.

We all were once sinners who have recovered in some areas or are recovering from an experience, situation or sin sickness that separated us from God. Here at Paradise, we seek to reconcile the lost back to god and strengthen the believer to live a perfect and upright life in the sight of God.

HOW IS YOUR CHURCH FINANCED?

God’s plan of financing the church….

• Offering - His people giving of their own free will as He prospers them. • Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not

grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. – 2 Corinthians 9:7

• The tithe – (10% of your income) is the Lord’s•  And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of

the tree, is the LORD's: it is holy unto the LORD. – Leviticus 27:30

• The Church is the Storehouse• Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine

house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. – Malachi 3:10

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF MEMBERS?

TO PROTECT THE UNITY OF YOUR CHURCH

…by acting in love toward other members

• Romans 14:19 – Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and mutual edification. (NIV)

• 1 Peter 1:22 – Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart. (NIV)

…by refusing to gossip• Ephesians 4:29 – Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your

mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. (NIV).

…by following the spiritual leaders• Hebrews 13:7 – Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to

you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. (NIV)

TO SHARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF YOUR CHURCH

…by praying for its growth

• 1 Thessalonians 1:2– We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers. (KJV)

…by inviting the unchurched to attend• Luke 14:23– Then the master said to the servant, ‘Go

out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. (NKJV)

…by warmly welcoming those who visit• Romans 15:7 – Wherefore receive ye one another, as

Christ also received us to the glory of God. (KJV)

TO SERVE THE MINISTRY OF YOUR CHURCH

…by discovering your spiritual gifts and talents

• 1 Peter 4:10 – Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. (NIV)

…by being equipped to serve• Ephesians 4:11-12 – It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be

prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up. (NIV)

…by developing a servant’s heart• Philippians 2:4-7– Each of you should look not only to your own interests,

but also the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with god something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. (NIV)

TO SUPPORT THE TESTIMONY OF YOUR CHURCH

…by attending faithfully

• Hebrews 10:25 – Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching. (NIV)

…by living a godly life

• Philippians 1:27a – Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. (NIV)

…by giving regularly

• 1 Corinthians 16:2 – On the first day of the week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income, saving it up so that when I come no collections will have to be made. (NIV)

• Leviticus 27:30 – A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the LORD; it is holy to the LORD. (NIV)
