• Events sometimes force observations at LCD sites to be made at backup locations (ex. Snowpaid).

• Beginning in February 2007, the following information will be made available on the F-6 and published at NCDC when a backup site is used:– What element of observation– Distance to backup site– 8-point cardinal direction to backup site
