The Department of Environmental Protection now requires that anyone who has failed an examination three times must take a “requalification” course prior to being admitted to the examination again. NJWEA has re-ceived approval to provide a series of courses to satisfy that requirement.

Persons needing to re-qualify S or N license exams must complete 2 days of sessions as follows:

Candidates for S 1 thru 4 and N 1 thru 4 must take the course designated S1-4, N1-4 on Monday. Then, all candidates for S1 and S2 must take the course designated S1-2 on Tuesday, while all candidates for S3 and S4 must take the course designated S3-4 on Wednesday.

After the Monday course, all N1 and N2 candidates must then take the course designated N1-2 on Tuesday, while candidates for N3 and N4 must take the course designated N3-4 on Wednesday.

Candidates for C 1 thru 4 must take the course designated C1-4 on Mon-day.

Then, Candidates for C1 and C2 must take the course designated C1-2 on Wednesday. Candidates for C3 and C4 must take the course designated C3-4 on Thursday.

A certificate indicating that the applicant has completed the specific re-qualification course (2 days) will be issued.

These courses are also TCH sessions applicable to License Renewal.

The New Jersey Water Environment Association has been ap-proved by The New Jersey State Board of Professional Engi-neers and Land Surveyors (the Board) as a Continuing Profes-sional Competency Course Provider. Please check the individ-ual course descriptions to see what courses will satisfy contin-uing education requirements for Professional Engineers. NJWEA will continue to maintain records of the courses offered and the names of attendees satisfactorily completing the courses. New York and Pennsylvania Credits for PE’s are as indicated in the course description.

All issues that may arise on the acceptability of a course will be between the individual and the Board.

The NJWEA Conference and Exposition is the largest water environment exposition in the Northeast. The event draws participants from throughout the country for four days of training education and offers the opportunity to

meet with manufactures and their representatives in a relaxed, informal setting to learn about their latest products.
