Mr Franco Fusignani, Fiat Industrial Chief Operating Officer Asia Pacific, who presided

the milestone, I have been closely involved in New Hollands history in India from the very
beginning, following its progress as it has been anticipating and meeting the changing needs of
farmers. NHFIs success has also come from its careful attention to the customer, which
extends beyond high productivity farming techniques, fuel consumption and operator comfort to
include a focus on the environment and sustainable practices. This is a source of great pride
and I am confident that it will continue to support as effectively the future development of Indian
farming.
