Palgongsan which has beautiful scenery of Daegu. Donghwasa temple, a time-honored temple founded during the Silla Dynasty (57 BC to 935 AD). There is a great standing Buddha statue (Tongil yaksa yeorae daebul, healing Buddha). It was erected in Nov. 1992, to pray for the nation's unification.

T4. From Incheon International Airport to Seoul Train Station

1) Bus Non-stop Limousine buses from Incheon Int’l Airport (IIA) to Seoul Station: Limousine buses leave from bus stop number 4A and 10A in front of IIA terminal every 10 to 20 minutes from 05:25 to 22:20. The fare is 13,000 Korean Won per person. The ticket is sold at each bus stop. (Duration: 1 hour) 2) Taxi There are three types of taxis – regular taxi, deluxe-type taxi (named “Mobum” taxi) and call van-taxi. It takes about 1 hour to get to Seoul Station from IIA. The fare will be approximately 43,000 Korean Won (about US$ 43) for regular and 80,000 Korean Won (about US$ 80) for the deluxe-type taxi and call van-taxi. The call van is a big taxi and can accommodate many pieces of luggage.

Foreigners outside Korea can not reserve a train ticket directly. If you wish to take a train to Daegu, please buy a ticket at Seoul Train Station or a travel agency at your hotel in Seoul.

The Microbiological Society of Korea reserved rooms for speakers of MSK2006 Meeting at

New YoungNam Tourist Hotel. We recommend speakers to take a taxi to the hotel from the

airport and the train station. It takes about 25~30 min to move from airport to the hotel and

fare is about 6~7,000 Korean Won. (Station: 10 min., 2~3,000 Korean Won)
