Objectives:- Arise society’s awareness of the modern world’s reality.- Exchange opinions on the base of tolerance and mutual respect.- Protect freedom of speech.- Create permanent forms for exchange of free thought - competitions,
exhibitions, presentations and meetings.- Present members’ works.

The Swedish-Polish Parliamentarian Association was founded in April this year. We arealready 60 members witch gives us a hint of the great interest for Poland in our parlia-ment.During 2003 a satirical drawing competition entitled "Poland - Sweden, how we seeeach other" took place with many funny and to-the-point hitting caricatures.
The theme for this year is "A New Europe - New Borders", and we look forward to seemany exciting contributions.
Politicians are used to be in cartoons and to be honest most of us are flattered as longas the cartoonists keep some decency in mind.
So we just want to encourage the caricature-contest and hope it will bring us manyfunny, remarkable and provocating drawings.
